You won't find one, as there isn't one.

Have a quick question about transfers.... when making a transfer to another BCP user, do you need to enter their screen name or their user name ( which starts with bcp-XXXXXX) Because on the transfer screen it asks for their "screen name" but the chat support rep told me to use their "user name"... So im somewhat confused and would rather have input from someone who has done transfers successfully

On a table by table basis you can right click on the player where you want to sit and then click seat me here

Hi,

If you have any questions about your RB, please email rakeback@blackchippoker.eu and Louisa will look into it for you.

I will comment though... I have played online poker professinally for over 10 years. I've played on 50+ poker sites in that time over dozens of networks. Not once have I believed that I was being manipulated by a "rigged RNG"

The more I think about it the more I realize that the belief that RNG's are rigged is more of a NoLimit player belief rather than a Limit player belief.

I've played Limit for years and never gave it a thought that the RNG might be rigged. But when I started playing a lot of sitngos, after getting the worst possible card on the river so many times, it actually flashed through my mind that the RNG was rigged even though I knew better.

The emotional impact of putting so much money or chips on the line in a single hand and the helplessness of watching a tragedy unfold is so much greater than what would just be another bad beat in limit, that I think some kind of conspiracy reflex sometimes gets triggered in a player's mind.

It's probably been asked already but I am too lazy to look thru the thread, but when does the Mac version for BCP come out?

It's just becoming ridiculous at this point. I know you are undoubtedly passing our concerns on, and will give us any information you have whenever possible. But nonetheless, it's starting to feel more and more like we are just being strung along by the network, and won't really be seeing any changes.

It's been months since we were given the 'couple of months' ETA. And since then, we have seen practically no fixes to a lot of problems, and relatively little news from them on how it's coming along.

All of the simple things that could really be fixed in a week's time, just seem to be put on the backburner, as we are told to wait for the major update. That we aren't seeing.

I have a hard time even recommending BCP/WPN to players I come across asking for advice on which site to play on. Of course the payouts are great, but the lack of concern for the software, and lack of the developers addressing the issues raised by players is a major turnoff.

Would it be so difficult for the developers, or someone who is actually in the know about the upgrade process, to get on here and tell us where they are at, when we can expect it, and why it's taking so long?

Hi guys,

One thing we have all learned is never to rely on dates (when it comes to software upgrades). Programming always takes much longer than expected and we don't want to get everyone's hopes up, only to disappoint and miss target dates - I have made this mistake before, and for that I apologise. The major upgrade on Merge (this is going back a while now) was more than one year past its original go live date and if I had been posting about every delay back then it wouldn't have been pretty.

We are hopeful it will be ready sooner rather than later, but as a skin, we just have to wait until it is ready to go. We know they are working as hard as they can on it and, as previously mentioned, we will post if we have any substantial updates, but as of right now we don't have any news.

Kind regards,
BlackChipRep

I think there will be a Mac version of the software, but I don't know when it will be ready.

The poker software is provided by IGSoft. They had their RNG checked and certified - I provided a link to the certificate in a previous post, a few months ago. Here's the link again.

If I trade with someone from another network for bcp funds, could bcp take action against my bcp account? Also, what are play through requirements with bcp before a cashout if i was to do this? Just curious how this works and don't want to make a "mistake" that could jepordise my standing here.

Hi,

Generally speaking, if you're doing a trade in order to get a bankroll on BCP, and you intend to play poker, you should be fine. If you're planning to simply play the minimum in order to cash the funds out, then you'll probably be found out and the withdrawal denied.

Why do you guys not fix real obvious bugs? Right now for example I cannot register for several tourneys cause the register button does not work. I've restarted the client several times, missing hands on other tourneys. This problem has been complained about for the entire year and nothing has been done. This is not an issue on the users end as my computer is top of the line. When do plan on addressing these bugs. Can you tell me what you guys are currently working on?

This 100 times this. I've been posting about this in all the WPN threads for months now and I'm never addressed. I email support about it and they just tell me to restart the client. That only works sometimes, and most of the time I can't even do it because it would cause me to miss tons of hands. This bug along with the more recent one that randomly makes everyone sit out at the tables are preventing this software from becoming somewhat tolerable.

This is the thing. There are tons of relatively obvious problems that complicate playing on the network that shouldn't be that difficult to fix. Yet, we are told to just deal with it, and that it will all be addressed when the major update comes out. So we wait, yet aren't seeing any news on the update, and it isn't likely to happen anytime soon.

Either they need to be busting their asses on getting the update out, or take a week or two off and address all the issues that are plaguing the network.

The only thing that is keeping players here is the 2nd best payout time second to Seals, coupled with Merge's and Revolutions payout BS...but even with that traffic is going down...its time for them to wake up or be left way behind.

Guys, you are preaching to the chior. We would also like to see the bugs fixed and the upgrades (minor and major) completed.

Well, the power is in the network hands, not the players. It is the one hiring and paying the programmers. If the programmers are not doing a good job, the some other will do. If they can't do it its time for a change of programmers.

Can you setup some kind of Q&A with the developers? Or someone from the network (rather than a skin) that can give us some more concrete answers on the update? Timeframe? What has already been addressed? What will be addressed? etc?

Because my fear is that if an update ever does come about, it is going to have major issues as well, since it doesn't seem like much communication with the players is taking place.

Also, if it comes across like I'm giving you flak, that's not the case. I know you are passing along info to both sides. It's just you are the only one communicating with us.

My post did come out a little harsh so I apologize as you seem to be the only Rep to regularly respond.

I do think its probably good to have people post the bugs just so they have some record or whats going on.

It looks like its updating tonight. Hopefully a few things get fixed in this one.
