Seriously, why would you move to Malta to play poker? It's not even tax-free.

Only the money you remit to Malta you pay taxes on, money kept offshore/online is tax free. And can be transferred to Malta as capitol after a year.

The first 10K remitted is tax free in Malta (for EU residents that is) then you pay between 25-35%.

hi badblood1

Ive played with you alot. I made sne for the first time in 2011 playing .50-1 and 1-2plo. Anywhere around 22/17 is alot tougher. I am finding it very difficult this year.

Is anyone playing 26/21 or 30/20ish finding it to be the same? Are u earning same vpp/hand as last year but getting raked more? thx.

30/22 seems to be the border line for PLO where you get the same amount of VPPs as last year. At least for 2/4 it is. 25/20 sees a 10% reduction and 20/16 is around 20% less.

I also considered Malta, but I heard there were many refugees from North Africa in 2011 (Lybia in particular because of the riots) who kinda ruined the situation.

Steve any chance of putting an asterix or something for guys that have a pre BF head start. Maybe even their starting amount in brackets?
This something that could be done?

I have a really small sample size, but +1 to this, almost my exact findings, except for the last one, was getting about 25% less at 20/16ish.

1bunn, going for 1.5 - 2 mil again?

vpip/pfr has very little to do with vpp rate
someone playing 20/15 could get more with wc than a 30/27 guy

this is far less likely in omaha than in NLHE and it's really pretty unlikely in general.

This is roughly what is to expect if nothing changes. 25-31% drop for ssplo around thos stats. Myself it has been around 28%.

So with a possible value loss upwards of 40k, the only answer seems to be widen ur vpip to 30 or higher? Pending nothing changes at the meeting.

The most important thing for PLO is money put into pots postflop, which most tight players never accomplish since no one ever gives them action. It's more about image/style than actual vpip. Ofc not going to say vpip does not affect it.
