****'s pretty ****ed up. Only fair way to work this out is give these guys amount of extra time based on the pace of VPP earning they've had so far this year & amount that was taken from them. Think that comes out to almost 2 weeks.

edit: or at the very least, match their December pace in extra time.

Finished the year with 69 points above the minimum, should I come back and play some more just in case they decide they had a software glitch that gave a 100 extra or maybe I played too many 6max SNGs against similar lineups?

Thanks, but the only way I can pull this off is by some time/VPPs compensation from PokerStars. In the next 33hr I can earn 30k VPPs max, there is not enough traffic on high stakes.

Just play as much as you can and worry about what happens afterwards, nothing else you can do. I was in a similar situation with Betfair when raking a WSOP package 18months ago. After a few days and I got to explain my side they improved their offer and I kept my WSOP package (with excellent help from mike haven!). All you need to do is show the time wasted playing HU hypers would got you x vpps (in your normal games during that time) and you are less than x from getting SNE. Good luck!

It's pretty weird that stars would take away those VPPs unless you guys were transferring back wins/losses so that you were both just paying rake. Doesn't seem right at all. Only way they could justify it is maybe they think you might settle up with bank transfers or something off-site.

Assuming no transfers stars really ****ed you over, and I hope they makes it right. This is coming from someone who thinks justDgmt is a douchebag too

Wtf has happened to stars? Now that they're a monopoly they just don't give a **** anymore?

Wasn't there an abuse of the system last year or the year before doing the exact same thing trying to make SNE? I'm not talking about the 70 billion hand promo

It definatly sucks for you guys. Not saying you did anything wrong but there is obvious implications and questions that arise when 2 player who know each other play a game that they normally do not in a last ditch effort to make SNE.

Justdgmt went from 24 tabling mostly NL Full ring NL200-NL600 to playing HU sit n gos with an average buy in of $800?

So is it Stars' job to police what might possibly be happening off their site with 0 evidence and with no harm being done to any other players?

I agree they were almost certainly going to split the losses but I think there's a pretty big step between making a logical assumption and a site punishing players for activities that harm no other players based on nothing but assumptions.

And this comes just weeks after two people blatantly colluded/softplayed and cheated to ship the 70billion hand promo on the site at the expense of thousands of other players who were playing fairly, and they were paid out.

Fwiw, if phase89 played his normal sessions he was going to make SNE with one day cushion, so its not like it was a last ditch effort or sth. Also they know each other well, but arent great friends per say, so I'd say there was some rivalry involved in the HUs for sure
