also for some reason my hand really hurts so I am thinking about getting a new mousepad and MAYBE mouse, but the current one is the best ive ever had so far.

Any recommendations? I just have a flat mousepad, maybe there is something super nice to buy? I also have a razor one for comp games but didnt like it at all.

I have this one:

I have this mouse and it's the best ever. It's getting old now though so wondering about a replacement for when it eventually fails, I think the Cyborg RAT-9 is my favourite at the moment. fully adjustable so should be even more comfortable. looks hardcore too

aaahhh, but they made it sound like it was going to be cool and if you have no idea about how to do math on their systems (which nobody does) it sounds pretty sweet, no?

going for 2nd time... think i will b trying to earn 2 or 2.25 vpps havent decided yet... month of january is gonna b tough for me to grind since im on vacation the whole month and the internet connection is terrible lol... I wanna give a word of advice for first timers and even for alumnists. Develop a schedule that allows for "my time". As crazy as that might sound I think its something that grinders should really open their minds to.... I grinded last year pretty hard and earned elite in 9 months playing from january till end of october.(took about a month off combined during summer months) I played 6 and 9 man reg and turbo sitngos with an avg buy in of $100.(mostly 12 tabling) I wanted to give myself the month of november and december to "enjoy life". I sware it was probably the best thing I did for myself for the whole year of 2010. I use to be a very active, outgoing, partying person before I started playing online poker, but just sitting in my "dungeon" all day long can really change urself as a person.... You may not think that limiting yourself to this lifestyle can change you as a person for the worse, but i feel it definitely can... Nevermind having to deal with the mental effect of grinding so many hours or being on a downswing, your body also deals with the physical effects of not working out and eating a well nutritioned diet. I'm not going to tell you to eat a diet that a body builder eats, because I love to eat things that taste good lol... But sitting in your "dungeon" ordering every type of fast food throughout the day will hurt you lol... Just figured Id share some words of advice that I feel if I would of stuck to myself would be in better shape physically and mentally after my elite grind. Find time to enjoy life, work out regularly, and try to eat decently. I havent really played poker since end of October and I feel like a completely different person... I wake up everyday happier, and just enjoy the finer things in life... We only live one time and I forgot what was important in life for a while because of only "grinding". Trust me I love money, and am a very hard working competive person, but try not to forget about enjoying life while on your elite quest. I think I am going to start up a blog for this years grind and will post again on here once I finally set it up. I am still on a vacation now in Spain just enjoying life till the end of the month, then will turn on the grind motor once home... Anyways goodluck to everyone in 2011 on your elite quests!!

My stars name is dombomain33 just in case..I have not been much of a public person in the poker world up to this date, but plan on changing that now.

Nice post dombomain, but please use paragraphs next time, huge bodies of texts can be annoying to read on forums

hypothetically lets imagine you are in a HU free roll to play isledur1 HU and since it is a free roll most players didnt show up. 2 of these players are playing each other and the blinds are a long ways off from going up to the point of putting some one all in. how long will the tournament have to wait for match 2? will someone come stop their match or is it until one of those 2 busts from posting?

the idea of playing someone who is sitting out in round 2 is pretty sweet though.

Yea i feel that way as well sometimes, I honestly almost got this

http://most-expensive.net/mouse-pad

For the simple fact that $500 for the most expensive mouse in the world seems cheap.

Can we get a compilation of tips for newbie SNE chasers?

Last 3 years i've gotten somewhere between 400-500k VPP, but schoolwork definitely took away from my playing time. Now that i'm playing full time SNE seems doable, but any tips are welcome.
