black on FTP isnt too hard it seems but it is a 100 day rolling calendar and it would seem the math has been done to be around 49% RB (nothing will be for sure until the black store opens). other than that all im certain of is that FTP has now confused me even further with their rakeback systems and now they all work together to form the perfect storm of me being confused.

It's really going to depend on if you have rakeback, (and if so how MGR is calculated) and the conversion rates for cash bonuses in the Black Card store.

meh

IF you actually hit SNE on Stars and don't mind playing some live donkaments that's easily the way to go if it's going to be just one site or the other

I'm not sure about your specific game re: which site is softer but I would imagine it is similar.

Black Card does raise interest if it is truly comparable to SNE (though I'm very skeptical).. but if PS SteveD comes through with lifetime VPP rewards, then Stars is still >>> FTP

Stars, please increase rate of vpps from 5.5 to 6 for 2011

Wow I didn't know that Lifetime VPP rewards were being considered.

49% is a ridiculously high estimate. Doubt it'll be that high.

I thought nobody could estimate a thing with the black card until they actually say what the points are going to be worth.

For the poster trying to get SNE next year playing just 12 tables of 1/2 6m and fr: Yeah, 2M hands is about right. Probably a little bit more like 2.2-2.5M or something. It would depend on how many of your tables are 6m of course but getting 800 hands an hour seems like a decent estimate to me.

So that's perhaps 3000 hours on the year...or roughly 60 hours a week.
Even at a better clip of 2500 hours on the year that's still about 50 hours a week.

Up to you of course. But I just don't think 12-tabling a mix of 6m and FR at 1/2NL is very realistic. Looking at it the other way: I doubt you get much better than 400 VPP's per hour. Perhaps more like 330-350.

Woo, won a $153 double shootout hyper. 1 for 1!

Sorry for the brag - $5k and today's solid day gets me back in the black from a week of hosing. Feels good, man.

Filter "$153" in the tournament or SNG lobby.

This seems reasonable. Steve, any way this would ever happen?

Black card is going to dominate if its comparable to Supernova/SNE or whatever it's aiming for. Instant cash bonuses own so hard, not just for the grinders but for the fish too.

at the very least black card got a bunch of SNE pursuers to talk about itt. and if RB is comparable it will be much easier to earn than SNE.

as for the WCOOP ME i claim binking it, who wants second?

We need more lower buyin Hypers to the WCOOP main. Nothing is going right now aside for $153s / $25s ....

PS: Nice ship Daxon. I'm probably 0/10 in these stupid $153s so far.

311,551 VPPs, but I'm still going for it. I pretty much took mid-April through mid-September off from grinding. For motivation, I've given myself a 100 day challenge: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/17...madman-881796/

where do u get 50% rb from

if its from dis post http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...4&postcount=79

then it assumes that effective RB is already at 49%
% added by Black = $110 / $1,667 = 6.6%

i played at ftp last year and its not even close to 49% lol

You need to channel the bad beat energy better. Really focus on laying a bad beat on the other guy.. 97 vs AK? FOCUS on a seven and a seven will appear. It really works! For my complete set of training videos, send 19.99 to...

GL in the WCOOP today, those who are playing.
