I would guess the games are really good right now though. Your average should about as good as it will get right now. It's the mid morning/afternoon workday, no holiday break sessions that will be the low times

Yeah the games are great tonight, fish all over the place. I just played a session of 1419 hands at NL100 6max and got 657 VPP (.463/hand). Last month my average was .35/hand.

My goal is 410K VPP this year. Been lurking the 2008 thread for a while, have much respect for you guys that got Elite. Good luck to all in 2009.

Thats's what I thought but the games are sick right now. I averaged .44 Vpp/hand at NL100 over 4700 hands since modnight

My goal for 09 is to:
A. Get to Supernova in by February 20th
B. Play 300k hands at 50nl in January
C. Get to 600k VPPs, maybe try going for SNE, depending where I'm at in May/June limit/vpps/bankroll wise

I also could not stop myself from playing tonight, and I have to say games are def good and juicy, played a quick session of 1387 hands @ 50NL, made 350 vpps and a tad over 5 buyins

This is the opposite of correct. Games get sick good on holiday weekends like this. People come home and are drunk and get online and play some hands.

Also, there are several SNE hopefuls whom we won't see a lot of for the next couple days....these are the people who got SNE in 2008 who decided to take some time off (especially if they had a tiring road to the finish through December).
