most likley i will never use it for anything else i might buy a movie or a video game with it someday but not anywhere in the near furture. unless i can buy the all access card with it. if i had know it wouldnt work on pokerstars i wouldnt of bought i rather have cash in my pocket and i had to 5 bucks sales tax on it not much but i dont like throwing any money away

Explain that the act of playing poker is only illegal in Washington and Illinois, and even then the law is completely unenforcible due to the specific evidence that the police would need to collect. Then explain that you intend to spend $50 and play poker purely for entertainment purposes, the same as if you spent the night watching a movie and going to dinner. Then explain that you are 22 years old, and that while you still have a lot to learn about the world, they just have to trust that they raised a responsible young man.

FWIW - I believe those things have expiration dates on them. So after 6 months or something they really might be completely worthless...unlike right now when you only want to THINK they are completely worthless but they have plenty of value for anyone who actually buys ANYTHING.

I had a 50 dollar bill, but it wouldn't fit in the soda machine, so I put it away in a drawer forever since I no longer have any use for it.

the experation date on the card is 6 2010 but there is a 2.50 fee on it after 13 months so it not wrthless but i wasnt intending to spend the 50 bucks on anything other than gambling purposes
