Sorry if this is stupid question but i dont know the answer. I play at bodog im an international player, i withdraw via moneybookers but today my moneybookers account says i have to confirm my address in order to withdraw to my bank again, well the mailing system in Honduras the country where i live sucks so the letter will take like 6 months to arrive if its not courier. So waht i did i withdraw to moneybookers and deposit to FTP. what im planning to do is transfer that money to a US based friend, he withdraws via check and wires the money bank to bank to me in Honduras. Is there aflaw in that, will FTP get annoyed if i transfer and he withdraws wha i transfer to him? Reading all this FTP posts makes me feel unconfortable

Regards and best of luck

Joe

PD: what is rapid transfer or something like that at bodog, it seems to be a new withdraw options

if the player you are sending to is a REGULAR player, earning a lot in rake, then they prolly wont mind

If you both have a solid history of transfers, withdrawals, and deposits, there's nothing there to get hung up.

Don't know you citizenship situation, but do remember that even though your friend withdrew it for you, its still your income. For example, if you're a US citizen you can do this, but you are still obligated to report the income.

I don't use moneybookers.. but whenever anyone has had to confirm my address, they have not sent me a letter to do it. I have usually had to send them something that has my address on it. You sure this isn't what they want?

His friend should legally get taxed.

I can't speak for Canada, but this is just wrong for the US.

Also, you are not taxed on withdrawals. You're taxed on winnings. There's tons of threads about this in the Legislation forum if you want more information.

They mail you a PIN number and you enter it on their website to confirm your address.
