Everyone stop bitching about volume and get playing! If you sit in at an empty micro/small stakes table for either NLHE or PLO it will generally seem to half fill within 5 minutes. I haven't found the lack of volume/game selection a problem yet. Even without table selection the games are probably softer than at Stars.

ok guys- im cool with starting tables and all , but please join when you see 2 regs playing HU to start up the action ( midstakes). Fish more likely to join with 3 players there, and it helps to get games going at the usd tables which is what were all here for

How do I get 65% effective rakeback?

40% maximum RB allowed by the network, choose a skin that offers that, then a 25% effective bonus, usually a first time deposit bonus or a reload. For 25% effective the bonus needs to say you have to earn 40x the amount of the bonus in poker points. If it's 50x then it's 20% effective and so on. You get 1 poker point per $0.10c in rake and 1.5 PP's per 0.1 Euro

Edit: PM'd you with some hopefully helpful advice. A place I've found that lists a decent amount of skins is on the networks website under partners, here http://www.everleafgaming.com/our-partners. You can click those banners and check out what each skin is offering, they are all a little different, and some don't publicly offer rakeback or don't at all. That doesn't mean they don't offer it though. Generally, those who do publicly will list it under their promotions tab, but not always.

I don't want to turn this into a thread that debates which skins are better than which but if you do a little research you should be able to determine that yourself. Also, since we are on 2+2, it's probably fair to say that Minted has a support and promotions thread here on 2+2. There's so many skins on this network though that it can be quite competitive and really would be up to each individual to do his own research and decide what is best for him based on what his desires are. They can vary from slightly, to dramatically.

would be pretty hard to do the math on x but could use average pot sizes i guess. i'd be interested to hear anyone's thoughts on that

If you're doing the nuts gift of the month it doesn't even matter as your first $2k between now and new years= ~100% rakeback (40%+25%+32.5% for gift of the month+possible rake races?)

apparently you can get a $650 amazon gift card by raking $2k on minted with a certain affiliate, or $200 for raking $1k, plus november rake races. not sure if i can post links but just google 'gift of the month everleaf'

so yeah it is possible to get around 100% rakeback, depending on how quickly the sign-up bonus clears, the race leaderboards, and assuming you're happy spending $ on amazon

Is the rake cap effective for all skins ? I have randomly visited about ten skins listed on pokerscout and it was advertised only on mintedpoker.

not all skins can see $ tables, so not those ones ldo. As far as I know, if the skin lets you see the $ tables, its $1 rake cap. It would be totally bizarre if that wasn't the case, not sure how it would even work.

The whole month of Dec will still have a $1 max rake for all US tables. Did you mean after Jan 1?

Keep it up guys. My account's busto as of yesterday but I'll be back on them on Tuesday when rakeback comes. Now, if I can only run a little closer to average... 35 buy ins under just all in EV is not helping.

nofx, what games are you playing? ive been 8-tabling PLO mostly and delving nto some NLHE CAP when the PLO games die down. i gotta say though, im starting to get pretty frustrated with all of the lag, bugs, and disconnections. the disconnections, i guess, can be on my end as well as theirs but the software is just so damn buggy, and that is obviously not on my end.

the software needs fixing and we have been waiting for a while now. we are now in mid november and i'm not sure exactly how long it is supposed to take, but i cant imagine it would cause such a delay.

anyway, if anyone is interested in starting some non-holdem and PLO games like stud or even O8, let me know.

oh, i also asked earlier in this thread about any plans for spreading more games like stud 8, 2-7 TD, HORSE, 8 game, etc. Would like to hear back on this please.

no action at midstakes USD tables :/ . but what a successful promotion lol. they got me playing midstakes on their site on euro tables with 5 $ cap rake when i only originally wanted to play USD tables with 1$ rake. those sneeky bastardS!!!! :P like the site tho... good games/ decent software...
