If someone wanted to start an "Official Full Tilt Feedback Thread" or something here in Internet Poker I'd be sure to stay up to date on that and give answers whenever possible.
As requested for my Shayam.

Hopefully we can see some engagement between 2+2ers and FTP once again.

Hey Full Tilt marketing department (hopefully there is one?)

What are you plans for 2015 to increase the traffic at the poker tables?

Take the heads of the DOJ hostage and hold them ransom for an American gaming license???? That's about the only thing that would increase traffic, at this point.

We tried poker negotiations....It didn't work.

Now it's time for poker terrorism.....we will attack them with suicide vest full of poker chips...screaming...

Glad to see this thread - hopefully some better communication will result.

I'm really enjoying this Gold Rush promo - I think the execution within the software is what we are used to from the 'Old FTP' and what has been lacking the last couple of years.

I think this pretty much says it all - I've seen it posted on twitter at least twice now. If you get the simple things wrong then why would customers trust you with the big things like providing a safe and secure well run site?

On Tuesday, December 16th the rate at which Black Card players convert their Full Tilt Points to cash was changed to $1 for every 250 Full Tilt Points - we apologise for the later-than-expected notice on this, we tried to email all Black Card players earlier in the month but we had a problem reaching everyone; you weren’t forgotten!

To ensure that you’re not adversely affected by the change, you can still avail of the old conversion rate ($1 for every 200 Full Tilt Points) for a limited time; simply contact support@fulltilt.com before Saturday, January 31st to request a points conversion and specify the number of points you wish converted.

We’ll then manually process your request and make sure that the amount you receive equals $1 for every 200 Full Tilt Points.

meh. this is pretty annoying. it's an admission that you f'ed up (which is admirable) but you have to specifically request to get it fixed. i'm sure pretty much everyone has the auto conversion thing on, so now i need to disable that, let points accrue for a week, then email, then turn it back on. otherwise i get screwed, like i already got screwed on the sunday night payment. i understand why you went this route but it's annoying that it wasn't just postponed sitewide until the 1st.

Also recieved this.

Is there anything stopping us from accruing FTPs up to Jan 31st and then requesting for them to be converted at $1/200FTP?

I get that it is annoying it isn't being sorted out automatically for people with auto convert switched on - I' would hope if you email and explain, the difference will be credited to your account.

I can't believe you still haven't got hotkeys to work. I remember when FT first relaunched you said this would be a priority software update and that was 2 years ago.

The recent rake changes have been talked about quite a bit, but something I've not seen mentioned is the fact that in addition to having been lumped with a 20% reduction in rakeback, UK players now need to rake 25% more in order to reach/maintain a certain VIP level.

Obviously the rakeback reduction sucks, but it is what it is. However, I can see no justification for requiring UK players to have to pay more rake in order to reach a VIP status, which they then recieve lower rewards than everyone else for.

If you're going to reduce the FTPs awarded for every unit rake paid by 20%, then it's only fair that you reduce the FTP requirement for each VIP level by 20% also. This obviously doesn't affect high volume players, who comfortably achieve Black Card status, but for UK players who either just about maintin Black Card, or have a VIP status below BC, then this is massively unfair, and I'm surprised it's not been brought up already.

I'm not sure if a full 20% reduction would be fair but certainly FTP splitting the difference and reducing the requirement by 10% in a similar way to how the tax itself was offset does seem reasonable to me.

I would like to hear Shyam's thoughts on this I assume it was discussed when the changes were happening.

I don't see why it shouldn't be a full 20% reduction. Using black card as an example, maintaining a 500FTP 100 day rolling average for a UK player is equivalent to a RoW player maintaining 625FTP. This just seems like an underhanded way of increasing rake requirements for VIP levels for UK players - I don't see how the tax can be used as a way of justifying this.

If Shyam is going to respond to this, I'd also be interested in hearing exactly how the tax actually works.

Is the tax applied before or after VIP rewards? If a UK player rakes 100$, does FTP pay 15% tax on this, and thus reduce the player's rakeback by $7.50 ($15/2) (so black card would be about 33 - 7.50= ~%25.5)?

Or does FTP pay 15% tax after rakeback has been paid from rake - so for a black card player @33% rakeback who has raked $100; 15% on (100 - 33) = 67$ --> $10.05 tax. So ~$5 would be passed on to the player. I realise it's slightly more complicated than this, but these numbers are close enough to illustrate the point.

I believe although am not certain that the tax is on gross gaming revenue and therefore would be before any rakeback is paid.

I knew I had some vague memory of reading you had to have a Norweigian passport to enter.

'The championship events require a Norwegian passport to register, but the cash games are open to everyone.'

http://uk.pokerstars.com/en/blog/tea...n-149675.shtml

However that article was talking about last years event and I can not see anything in the FTP rules about having to have a Norweigian passport but I assume that is still the case and the reason why I can't register for the tournaments in the lobby.

How about if you group 6 card PLO together with regular PLO in the Black Card leaderboards instead of putting it in the "Other" category. I think this could have a positive effect on the limit game traffic and also logically makes more sense imo.

I also think the game of the week stuff is a nice idea but the extra fpps don't really entice people enough to try them, perhaps you could add some kind of allin tournament (flip tournament or whatever they are called on FT) each week to which one gets a ticket if one plays a certain amount of hands of the current game of the week variant or something like that?

did ftp change the canadian check withdraw policy.

I always withdraw through USD checks and have received many last year, however this year support tells me canadians can only recieve cdn checks and act as if USD checks were never an option. I still have the USD check option available to me and I get sent confirmation that a usd check is being processed however a cdn check ends up getting shipped.

I can see an argument for both sides on grouping PLO variants or keeping them in Other.

I agree with you about FTP's not being enough incentive to try the Game of the Week though, I think more could be done to encourage players to try new games. Possibly some sort of achievement/challenge to complete - play x hands in y variant and get $xxx in bonus type thing

I have no idea about this but you may want to either PM Shyam on here or contact him on Twitter to get an accurate response to your question.

Edge leaderboards are bit unbalanced at SNG's. SNG Low includes up to $26 buy-ins which is too high imo. It doesn't really give any chances to players who play only lower end of buy-ins (<$10). I think they should either change low buy-in limit $26 --> $10 or change the points formula to give much less weight to buy-in (maybe compensate that by giving more weight to opponent multipliers).

Also I have come back to FT just recently and today I noticed there wasn't early morning happy hour. I think it has been there every day for the last two weeks or so. Are they removing it or is it just not a every day thing anymore?

And could someone tell me is it cheaper to me make a withdrawal by:
$FT --> $PS --> €PS --> €Neteller
or
$FT --> €Neteller
?

Thanks.

You can check upcoming happy hours by going to your cashier->my promotions->happy hour

I'm not sure about the frequency of any specific happy hour but using the above info will give you the happy hours for the next couple of days.

I'm not certain about which withdrawal method is best as I am unsure about any limits/conversion fees for stars going from $ to euro within the client before sending to neteller. Perhaps do a $10 withdrawal via both options at the same time and see which is better? Otherwise you will probably have to email stars support and ask them and then compare.

I don't have enough knowledge about the SnG leader boards to comment but if you know of other people who feel the same way encourage them to comment in this thread so Shyam sees it.

New ftops schedule looks great but shouldn't there be some sort of deposit bonus attached to it?

Getting people to put money onto the site has to be the number one priority surely as it's beneficial for all games if people have money in their accounts.
