What's the folder that Borgata saves the hand histories to? I can't find it and I'm trying to test it out to make sure HEM is working for me!

The only other reason I could think of for this happening is that when Tab was recruiting for the soft launch on Twitter, I sent my rewards # to him in addition to my name and email. However, I'm not sure if that is a factor since I didn't get an email invite...
Thanks. Maybe I'll ask about it in a few days (weeks?) when their support people are less busy.

You are verifying for the group. You are answering a question that has perplexed so many over the previous days - Do HUD's work on any of the sites?

And, will they be allowed when the sites go official on the 26th? We know Ultimate has commented that they are not compatible with their site.

Just trying to confirm other sites policies. BTW we also know that Nevada is not allowing HUD's at the present. NJ regulations not as precise?
Sorry if I sounded defensive. Just wanted to point out that all a screen capture is doing is showing that I didn't intentionally mislead the forum by saying that my PT4 HUD works (believe me, I didn't). If I was lying about it, and I wanted to continue spreading this misinformation, I could easily photoshop a HUD onto a screen grab of a table.

To speak to your comments/questions: I don't think it's a matter of Nevada or New Jersey allowing HUDs. It's (1) the features/capability of the software in producing real-time hand histories, and (2) the hand histories being in a format that works with PT4 and/or HM2. Since it seems the Borgata software is (not surprisingly) producing hand histories in PartyPoker format, it is working with PT4 without the folks at PT doing anything to specifically support NJ sites. I would suspect that HM2 is the same. And of course, the PartyPoker software in NJ would likely also work with both.

I believe the main reason Nevada sites don't support HUDs is because of the lack of real time hand histories being written to the user's hard drive, not because they are prohibited (though both may be true). And even if WSOP or Ultimate produced them, PT and HM would not likely be configured to read them.

Bottom line, it seems to be more of a matter of capability and format rather than being allowed by state regulations.

I am also having a BIG problem with the Party Poker software on my Mac. I use a retina Macbook Pro with 27 inch Thunderbolt display. The game looks fine on the laptop screen, but on the 27 inch display the cards are giant sized and pixelated and they cover important info on the screen like chips bet and chip count. Its unplayable.

Anyone else having similar issues?
I started a thread in the WSOP support forum about this. A bunch of people (including me) had this happen in a tourney. Maybe it was a one time glitch since it seems to have hit a bunch of people at the same time; if it happens again I'll probably ditch the site until I see some news that they have fixed the issue.

Is always the same, fios satellite isnt really an ISP, but you can all Verizon and ask if they can reset your IP to show your actual location, and not one from an out of state office. They can do that.

Since you arent going to sign up now though, I would wait and see. After hard launch, there may be other options (like passing other tests for wi-fi and cell rather than IP addy). I do not know this will happen, but it may.

I am having issues with the bonus from both Borgata and WSOP.

Borgata sent me an email saying I'd get the $50 if I signed up. It's been two days and I don't have it. I called and spoke to someone presumably in India, and he said he had to escalate the issue and they'd get back to me.

On WSOP, I signed up yesterday and did a small buy in but I have yet to receive my $10 sign on bonus. The match of my buy in bonus appears to be working, but I haven't actually played enough to earn it yet.

Where/what location are HH and how do you set up to download to your computer?
Are you using the email last x number of hands function?
thanks

No problem. It took me a while to find it last night because Borgata created its own "Programs" root directory instead of using "Program Files" or "Program Files (x86)". I had to search my hard drive for Borgata to find it.

See my post above (#1281). They are automatically stored there. You need to configure your tracking software to look there for it.

Edit: There may be a setting in the Borgata client for saving your HH to your hard drive. Can't remember for sure if that's true and what the default setting is, but check that as well.

I received the same email from Borgata, it's not in my account but says at top that it's there. I'm unable to deposit on site. So I guess I will have to try the software out later this week.

If anyone else is able to get either HM or PT4 working please post.

Thank you,

rara

Thanks for the heads up. I'm unable to play on the site yet so the folder may not have been set up until I start playing.

It imported and everything is working just fine in HEM (and I mean the original hold'em manager I don't even have 2 or anything right now haha). Haven't tried to fire the HUD up yet but it's good to go. Grabbed my SNG results and everything.

I am still having problems since Friday being recognized in NJ with borg, party, wsop and 888 - those are all I've signed up with. I have a wifi usb adapter on my hard wired PC and can see 5-6 neighbors' wifi signals.

Was just on the phone with Borg support. They said to look in the Borg program file to make sure I saw a GeoComply Geolocation Client System API file there. (presume from the name it helps find me). I saw it both in the Borg program file and elsewhere in its own Program file. The version in the Borg file was 2.1.3.0 - the version in its own file was 2.1.3.2. Support said to delete 2.1.3.0 version in the Borg file (its apparently old - they are using 2.1.3.2 now) AND also delete the stand alone file. Then, delete and reload the Borg software.

Done and done but no progress. Borg download still populates with 2.1.3.0 and the stand alone file did not reappear.

Borg support said that's all they could suggest at this time and would refer my case to the tech area.

I have no idea which site the stand alone file came from. I guess I should delete and reload the other three but before I do I wanted to ask the group if I am going to initiate the law of unintended consequences.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Please take into account that I am not a tech savvy person in any responses.

Thanks
