What Poker HUDs are available for WSOP NJ on a laptop? Thinking about trying PT4 or PokerProLabs, but wanted to see what else is available. Thanks

WSOP doesnt allow huds because it shares pool with nevada where they are illegal. Unless that has changed in the last year or so that is the position of huds on wsop

It hasn't changed.

Also, the new update on BetMGM (and I assume Party and Borgata) is great. Everything is a lot easier to read.

For tournaments they added info to the top left corner of the table so there's no need to keep checking the lobby for information. There's a few other improvements as well. Seems like they did a really nice job on it.

Is there anyone playing on Borgata that wasn't completely screwed by the incompetent loyalty system update?

It seems as though they made "the grind" promotion, worth about 2/3 as much as before and while its great that they added steps in, the top levels are still impossible. They also increased the price of the items in the store, as well as made it harder to reach the higher tier levels.

does Poker Tracker 4 work with WSOP NJ? I know that they don't allow the use of a HUD but will it import hands to allow you to track results.

pokertracker will not work because there are no hand histories saved locally.

I *think* I had a very bad glitch on WSOP.com New Jersey, very interested to hear if anyone has had a similar experience.

I was deep into one of the WSOP.com Bracelet Events, down to the final few tables.

Action folds to Button who goes all in for 700K. Folds to Hero in BB who calls and covers by 400K.

The board runs out and, good news, Hero's hand beats the Button. But suddenly I am removed from my seat and congratulated on my XY place finish in the tournament.

Now when I go back to the Hand History, the player in SB with 2 Million actually went all in over Button's raise and I apparently called all-in from the BB. SB's hand beat both Button and Hero, so he knocked us both out and gg?

So that's about it... I would swear that I did not see that SB had moved all-in or still had a hand. Even as they turned the hole cards up and ran out the board, I just saw the shorter Button and myself. Then all of a sudden I'm out.

The hand history shows the "correct" action, as the guy in SB obviously was really in the hand and knocked us out with his hand. Either there was a glitch that impacted my own view of the action where I was mistakenly led to believe it was heads-up, or I had a colossal case of tunnel vision and my eyes just missed it somehow. Again I didn't even see SB's hand displayed during the runout of the board.

The latter is not impossible, but I can just rely on my own memory of the experience and it still doesn't sit right. Unfortunately I appear to be out of luck dealing with support -- they say the Hand History transpired as is and without some kind of documentation on my end there's no way to show a one-way glitch or whatever may have happened.

tl;dr -- An invisible player knocked me out of a deep tournament run on WSOP.com NJ, but the hand history looks normal. Anyone have a similar happening?

Heading to the shore later this month and figure I'll give out the local online scene a go. Any real pool difference between WSOP and StarsNJ? PLO/NLHE cash low-stakes stuff just for giggles....

Thx

WSOP will have more games (6 table max) but games not good (Nevada people usually not bad) in comparison to others. Stars will have best software and basically no rakeback. Borgata/Party/MGM will have fewest games but probably softest games.

PLO will be pretty sparse on stars and borgata.

Completely screwed. I was Black Label prior to the update, but they didn't convert prior points earned into the new points rates, so I dropped to Pearl. I'm not purchasing anything from the store until my status is higher.

I'm also confused as about how many points I'm actually earning, if I check my status in "My Loyalty" it says I'd earned 20k points this month, then I goto "The Grind" and it says I've earned 10k for the promotion.

As with any Loyalty "upgrade" (i.e. Starbucks, Hotel, Airline), it's never good for the consumer.

I was also boned over by the upgrade and trying to get some answers and a reasonable resolution to this mess. I was Black Label Elite before and now moved down to Pearl.

For the "The Grind" promo, only points from poker count so if you are also getting points from sportsbook or casino that would be where the discrepancy is coming from.

I'm hoping someone could help...is there anything else I can do from here to get verified so I can put in money? Thanks and hope all of you stay safe.
Related to this: How long does it normally take them to approve/verify info? Gave myself a couple weeks, but want to know when I should start actively checking in/pushing them.

Looking for a few players for our rake free- friendly .20/.40 PLO/5 Card/NL game on Pokerrrr2. Most players buy in for $40-$100 and reload as necessary. Some of us also play a much higher playing $1/$2 game that plays more like $5/$10. We used to run every night but some players have dropped out. Mix group of players, no one amazing, 3 or 4 pretty good players, mostly players that play for fun. All honest good guys who chat and talk via group text about poker and betting/gambling in general though definitely not necessary.

Reach out if you want a seat! I live in PDX and San Diego and before the shutdown played regularly at Rialto and Claudias. This is a fun, low key game with no rake!

the dumb site didn't reset the counter for how many points you earned this month on the first of the month, so its currently show last month + this month.

the grind is tracking correctly though.

lol apparently when they converted your status, they only looked at what you raked the previous quarter and not what you raked YTD, even though they moved towards a yearly structured reward program.

I haven't done the calcs myself, but from what I've heard Party NJ is now a much better skin to play on in terms of RB. One thing I like about the MGM rewards is having access to good rates at Gata/Aria so I'm unsure what I'll do. As former Black Label Elite it really doesn't make any sense to spend any points until you get to at LEAST gold in the new tier...

Warning... fluff post.

File this under "Things that can only happen in NJ"

Last night I signed up for a SnG on BetMGM at around 1am, it didn't fill up and I went to bed. I get up today, make coffee etc... log in at 11am and a table pops up, at first I can't figure out what is happening... I'm 3rd of 4 in a SnG that I forgot to unregister for last night with 1100 chips left and manage to hold on and take 2nd.

Is there a way to back up your player notes on WSOP?

I want to put them on a new laptop. I know there use to be a folder with Playernotes, you could backup and move but I know longer see it.

Is there a way to use Microsoft One Drive? A full back up and restore? I'm not that computer savvy so just looking for an easy method. I tried to ask WSOP support but they are worthless.

are there enough games running online to be a poker pro in NJ? I'm assuming that between the three sites Pokerstars, PartyPoker, WSOP there would have enough games running to do it. curious to what would the number of tables and stakes to do so as not many higher stakes games run.

yes, there is also global and ACR to play on. how many people are pros depends on your definition, i guess.

I just moved to NJ and set up wifi service at my house with Verizon, using a new router/modem, about 9 days ago. Since then I have been unable to be successfully geolocated by any of the poker sites. The PokerStars chat reps I speak with all say that this is a common issue when using a new router/modem and could take WEEKS to resolve. They are unable to provide me a clear explanation of why, however. And when I try to talk to Verizon tech support, they are clueless.

Has anyone else had this issue with Verizon? Does it actually resolve itself after a while or should I be looking to switch ISPs?

Are you in a relatively congested area where your computer can see other wifi networks? It's important that they can see other networks to triangulate your location.

I've posted in the PokerstarsNJ thread about this. The past few days I've had Geolocation issues in WSOP and PokerstarsNJ. It cannot identify my location no matter how often i reset my wifi or restart my computer. I have Verizon Fios as well. I was able to play on both sites until 5 days ago.

Yeah, just a normal suburban neighborhood.

I actually was able to get successfully located earlier this morning, but now this afternoon I've had no luck. I'm not really sure what to do about this long term.
