Nice of the Devils to make sure they scored and allowed just the right amount of goals over the last 2 nights to provide a countdown for the remaining days.

By the time I left to go out at 10:00pm I was a little over 20 bucks, which hey, that's a nice meal so pretty happy. The software is terrible though, but as the only site that actually WORKED for me, I'm okay with it.
Nice! What didn't you like about the software? Did it feel rigged?

huds work for any site that write hand history files.

i was only to play on wsop.com and my hud was not working, as they don't write hh files.

party/borgata has stated they plan on writing hh files. as for ultimate and 888 and others, i'm not sure we will have to wait and see

also, it's really dumb that you can't open wsop.com and 888.com at the same time, considering they're separate player pools....

Brag: Played $1 tournament, won it. I played connected to a WiFi network, I am in Linden.
Any other reports of players not being to play on WSOP or 888 due to frequent location verification problems? If you were on a Mac, I would love to hear if the problem went away after you switched to a windows.

Also, anyone in the north jersey area(5-10 miles from the border) able to play on WSOP or 88 without any location verification issues?

The software would log me in and verify my location but it would kick me out periodically and I had to relaunch the application again. I might try Windows today and report back.

AP reporter seems desperate to find a positive spin on last nights launch. If you played and are willing to talk about it, send him an email.

The article thats out right now is mostly negative.

if it's rigged, it's rigged in my favor lol! but nah like the timers aren't that visible and it doesnt look very sleek, kinda poor for multitabling especially since i'm planning on mass tabling. partypoker had such a nice interface but none of that means anything if it's a website ran by mentally challenged baboons

Thanks for the help/offer, but it turned out that it was just team viewer being on my computer even though it was not running. So I just uninstalled it, and it worked.

The most important things are the Wi-Fi being enabled and remote programs being turned off.
So if my laptop at my house only manages to pick up my own wi-fi signal, and my neighbors' house are either a) too far way, b) not wi-fi equipped, or c) not emitting a strong enough wi-fi signal for my laptop to even recognize, it will make it more difficult fore me to have my location verified? That's pretty rough...

Do they show many users are logged in? Sounds like less than 50 people were on each site at a given time. Action starts at 6pm again tonight?

Yeah, it starts up again at 6 I believe. And I know 888 at peak had a little under 50. It's actually somewhat beneficial for the sites with freerolls. a 100 dollar freeroll that paid 5 people only had 27 people enter, was able to get 11 dollars for getting 5th.

I wasn't around to try out the soft launch last night.

I forgot my personal laptop today so I am Wondering if I leave work early, can any of the sites be downloaded before 6 pm so I can be ready to attempt to play when they open?

I'm guessing no, but I'm not 100% sure. According to Ultimate poker the sites are only accessible during soft launch hours. I'd bet that includes downloading software/getting verified etc.

Ha yea I figured that wasn't going to be your issue. I saw a lot of people crying that they thought it was rigged though. I didn't feel like that really. I just saw a good amount of bad beats happening to other players. A couple to myself too. It happens.

Yep! Those were awesome. I didn't play too well in them though. I hope they have some more up tonight.

It took me one minute to get everything set up and begin betting. A lot of people are having issue with this TeamViewer on their computers but this stuff is minor and everyone is already finding solutions to the problem.

You aren't going to miss anything by downloading at 6pm. It will probably take 10 minutes or so before all the action starts regardless, people will need to sign on. It takes 1-2 minutes to do.

I haven't seen this commented on yet, but I think this promotion is pretty fun and seems ripe for radio and TV commercials in the next few months. I for one will be playing the semi-final each weekend.

Why do some of the casino's have 2 sites? It makes no sense to me. You can't play at the same time on each of them and they are different player pools? How are they this clueless!?

Are Borgata and Party's site different player pools for cash? Do they plan to segregate at some point if so?
