I've been playing online in NJ since January pretty much non stop. And its definitely getting kind of stale. Promos are boring, tournaments are the same day in day out. I really want a site to come out with something exciting. The GSSS was pretty good, but of course there was that major debacle last Sunday.

Yes, a perfectly-functioning Geocomply should render IP-validation moot, but no way the sites drop it. It may even be in the NJ regs somewhere that sites have to block non-NJ IPs.
I work in the industry. IP address is donezo.

Only wifi geolocation is used anymore.

my personal experience was different. I had to call up Verizon to change my IP address to be able to play on the sites. Wifi was never the problem for me.

This link was posted by user Joe Tall in another thread http://www.onlinepokerreport.com/139...-gaming-forum/

this was something i had not heard of before "Regulators in NJ have had preliminary discussions with their counterparts in the UK."

also the article says Pay Pal is coming soon and that Geolocation will slowly get better

i guess this can go out as a PSA then

if you're paying comcast heaps extra per month for a static IP connection just for poker, you can stop.

no one doing it arleady will believe me, but go test it out from a starbucks that pulls IPs from wisconsin and stuff

So this happened to me earlier tonight on Borgata...

... My opponent is betting into me. Yet he has no cards in his hand. I multi-tabled at least 3 hours tonight and this was the only time that happened. And yes, I do use card and table mods. But I doubt that had anything to do with it. It didn't happen any other hand. The guys screen name and HUD stats have been blacked out by my wonderful MS Paint skills.

This issue has been reported by myself and a couple of others in the dedicated Party forum with no response from PartyRep.

Ugh play the ninth one hopefully ! On a diff note, make sure you all use your ultimate points in the store, before they shut down. I found out I had 135k points, got two hoodies, a backpack for gym, a hat, and two decks of cards lol. Free stuff. Luckily we didn't select ultimate for banjo lol

We never hear from the Party_Rep, but a post this morning showed up. Has TD Bank given any one problems withdrawing? Visa has balked at participating since the beginning. Alternative methods from Party Customer Service? That should be an interesting undertaking.

We have noticed higher than normal Visa decline through card issued by TD bank. We are investigating on this and in the mean time we request you to kindly contact CS for alternate deposit options.

I've received dozens of withdrawals with no problem and there is no reason to use TD Visa Debit for deposits anyway as ACH and Online Transfer both work perfectly from TD.

On the eve of the suspected poker stars debut date in NJ i am surprised no one is talking about it nor news agencys saying a word. I crave sun light from the world but all i see is the darkness in this stupid cave that is NJ online poker.

ALL quiet on NJDGE and The Resorts front?

The original October 1st date was rescinded shortly after it was reported.

Senator Lesniak, the Gambling Guru of Trenton, said it would happen within weeks. So, some time in October was his guess.

Also, notice that the other sites have gone semi-quiet about promotions for October, or have just re-upped in the case of WSOP. Wait continues.

Most News is on the B&M side.

I've been busy with work projects and out of the loop, but my dad asked me what happened to the 8:30pm Bounty Tourney on WSOP. Any insight?
