You are receiving the registration emails that are triggered upon verification of first log in. You will not receive an email every time you log in. Thanks!

Not trying to a downer on the launch, and I as much as I want things to run smoothly I know there will be plenty of bugs to work out. I'm just thankful I'll get to play at some point soon. I have a Mac, so now 888 for me

I expect that bwin's NJ team will have a serious presence on the forums in the next 24-48 hours.

Yes, you may have things running in the background...

I'm unsure about you specifically, but this may help others and hopefully you:

For those experiencing 888 issues saying it sees remote control software, try this...

Bring up your task manager, click on "Processes" tab at the top, then scroll through the processes to you see the one that I have highlighted in the picture below. Select it and end the process by clicking the bottom right button. Perhaps even end the other USB3.0 process that is above the one highlighted; I didn't need to.

This was what was causing my issue. If your computer has USB3.0, this could be it.

Good luck.

Same goes with PartyPoker and TheBorgata software.

I'm beyond frustrated at this point TBH.
I should have said "enable Wi-Fi" to be perfectly clear, but I am sure you would have known had you seen that. I will be back in a couple minutes after writing out step by step for you.

I had to make a different SN for 888 and WSOP so I don't think it's the same pool.

Thanks man. Isn't my wifi enabled by default though? I never hard wire in, I'm running wireless off a router.

Wouldn't that mean the opposite then? If the weren't the same pool then you should be able to have the same name.

At the last minute the Golden Nugget was approved for the soft launch. Should ad that to the list in the OP First Post.

Tried to download the Golden Nugget, poker software. Unable to find the link.

Called support said casino software working, poker not. Does not know when poker will be up.

Those sites use different ways of verifying but the end result should be the same, ie if you have a remote process running, that message should be on all of them.

One step at a time. Even if you do not have a remote process turned on, its likely running in the background. Right click your bottom task bar and turn on task manager to end the process. If you cant find it, let me know and I will help you.

If you have a specific error message as to your location problem, pls post it.

Thanks

I think on Merge you could have different SNs on each site so it may be like that here.

How do I leave a table at 888? I don't have to sit at this table forever do I?

I was able to get my location verified(allowing me access to the tables and cashier) on 888 poker. However Borgata still cannot verify my location. The error I get is below:

You are either registered in or have logged in from a jurisdiction where we do not allow the use of our product. If you want more information, or want to access your account, please contact Customer Care.

Hey all,

Please respond if you know.

I downloaded the Borgata software and started to fill out all the personal information to create my account. I had some questions, so I called the 800 number and got a well English speaking guy in Austria. I guess this is where bwin is? Anyway, he said the account name isn’t the name that is seen on the poker tables. You have to create a screen name for the tables and you can change it every 6 months. I downloaded the partypoker software and my account name was also the screen name showing at the tables and there isn’t anywhere in “my account” settings to change it that I could see. Does anyone know if their account name and screen name in the borgatapoker software are one in the same?

Also, since the guy was in Europe, I asked if the servers were in NJ and he said they were not. I thought it was NJ law that those servers be in the Casinos? Yes/no? So as our conversation went on, all that personal information is sent to company overseas. I found that disheartening.

Or does the guy I spoke with not know what he’s talking about?

It's pretty weak sauce that if you can't have your location verified that they till you to just exit and restart with no "Retry" button or some kind of indication of what the problem is. How come I can't use the cell phone location that their websites advertise?

Wow. How can a state of 9 million support 17 sites?
There are just 5 poker sites now. The rest are casino games.
Poker sites available at soft launch:
Borgata / bwin.party (PartyPoker) via http://www.theborgata.com/forms/online-games/sign-up or http://poker.theborgata.com/download.html
Caesar’s/ 888 Holdings (888Poker) via www.wsop.com and www.888poker.com (not pooled it seems)
Tropicana / Gamesys via https://www.tropicanacasino.com/ (might not have poker)
Trump Plaza / Betfair (iPoker) via www.letsplaynj.com
Trump Taj Mahal / Ultimate Gaming (UltimatePoker) via www.ucasino.com

Poker sites not available at soft launch:
Golden Nugget / Amaya and Bally Technology (Ongame) via www.goldennuggetpoker.com
Resorts / Rational Entertainment (Full Tilt Poker and/or Pokerstars)

AC casinos that haven't yet applied for an Internet gaming permit:
Revel
Atlantic Club
Note: goldennuggetpoker may come online tomorrow.

No clue what they mean. I'm not running anything right now, not even PT. Also:

"We are having trouble validating your location. To retry, please exit and log in again. If you still receive this error message, you can select Play Money in the lobby or try our mobile app."

...but I live 25 miles inland from the shore in Monmouth county.
+1 same problem, same message, live in somerset, nj
no reason to get that message

from what i can tell.....yes, they are essentially different skins of the same platform, so you will have to have different screen names for each, however, they wont be sharing player pools at 1st. (if at all)

i think
