"We gotta think big guys, we are going after the majors"
Bad example. The parking fee is mandated by the state and $4 of it goes to the state every time someone pays. The receipt transfer is also a state mandate.

These types of cross site transfers would take an extreme amount of accounting and payment processing work. Any benefit gained from the "rising tide" or "increased liquidity" would not even come close to the costs of making it happen.

Fine. How about Nucky Thompson building nicer roads into AC?

But you understand the concept, right?

There are no fees because there are no one to play the SNGs. Gotta have liquidity. I'm no fan of party poker for several reasons, but it that's where the action is then that's where ya gotta play.

Problem is that only the HU ones are turbo. And the non turbo ones are basically unplayable due to the structure.

2500 chips, 10 minute levels, and blinds that don't skip any level 10/20, 15/30, 20/40, 30/60, 40/80 etc

Way way too much.

The $1 tickets used to work for free $20 SNGs. I played them because they were free. But even free it was just way too much. Over 2 hrs to win, bubbles last 45 minutes.

Bottom line is that they need to implement turbos. And no one other than nits and mass SNG grinders care about SNG rake.

Has anyone gotten their rakeback from WSOP for December? I thought I put in enough volume to qualify, but not sure since there isn't really a way to keep track. I thought I read somewhere that they were paying it out on Jan 7th.

This is directly from WSOP. You had to play so many hands per day and a certain rake in December to get the rakeback. Then you also get rakeback for January. I made it to 5%.

they have signs pointing to harrahs, golden nugget, etc. i find that surprising.

What stakes were these going at and at what time? I didn't see that many games running around 8-8:30.

I want to congratulate my coach Brilliant27/YouPayMyRent for shipping the WSOP 5k GTD for the 2nd time last night! His first win was on December 2nd! Down nearly 4/1 in the HU, came back in 10 hands to wrap up another amazing win!

WSOP is wholly run by Caesar's Entertainment, whose parent company owns and runs Caesar's, Harrah's, Bally's, and the Showboat in AC (as well as a slew of other casinos all over the place).

888 is part of the All American Poker Network. That is a Wynn Interactive venture. As Wynn got run out of AC, they have no casino to work out of. Therefore they are "piggybacking" onto one of Caesar's licenses.

I'm going to expect there to be lots of action the next week and a half with the WPT at Borgata. Wait list for live games will be 2-2 1/2 hour long to play 1/2 or 2/5 so they will opt to play ipoker!

Thank you sir, you are a gentleman and a scholar. There were a few great players at this final table, so it was awesome to pull off the win. I'll be playing the WSOP 9pm 5k guaranteed again tonight, to defend my title. Landlord will be happy

My assumption is that it's just as it sounds... put $500 in the pot total in a single day. Only question is if whether uncalled bets/raises count but I think they should, as they are still "wagers". I saw nothing in the ToS that said otherwise.
