yea same here. I haven't signed up for an account on Party though, gonna wait and see with that.

Does anyone know which site will be first to launch an android app? Any time frames available for stuff like this? Thanks a lot in advance.

Also, anyone from out-of-state have any success playing/depositing using McDonalds wifi?

I was told by phone support this happened to many players including myself. I was advised I would receive my withdrawal within 7 days. They offered no real insight as to why this happened other than to say it was a technical error OBV.

I'm skeptical I will receive my $$ and plan on calling back on day 7. FYI I emailed support 4 days ago and they have not responded.

It would be nice if the Party Poker rep would respond to this issue on this board since I've seen complaints from others in this and the sponsored forum.

I live with my brother, if one of us tries to join a cash game the other is on it blocks us. We assumed the same would be true for MTT's, but we both joined the same one on 888 with over 100 enries and not only did it let us, but it sat us next to each other on the same table to start the tournament.

Borgatas bonus program is absurd. You need 1000 points before getting 10% of your deposit bonus. I play a ton and I'll probably only get 10% back. Lucky if I can get 20% in all likelihood. The bonus is pretty much false-advertising as others have said. Pretty much impossible to get anything but 10 or 20% probably.

I imagine Borgata will direct player rewards towards stays at the hotel rather than in RB. That stuff isn't really up and running but it will be interesting to see how it goes.

Super grunch but does anyone know if you can fund skrill moneybookers with paypal?

And if you can fund skrill with a BoA Savings account?

Or if there is a prepaid card that reliably works for party/bovada?

Thanks

I was able to fund skrill with my WF checking account. I think you should be able to use the savings account.

Is anyone having this problem? I emailed Borgata support yesterday but have yet to get a response.
Support just responded. They said they would correct and cancel the transaction by Monday thus fixing the problem. Looks like they will resolve by Monday

Just checked Borgata website and it says you release 10% of Bonus after 40iRP and you get 2 pts per $1 spent on rake/fees. Thus would release entire bonus after 400pts. Where do you see 1000pts????

Which is great news.
I was having the location verification as well and tried re-installing and everything. Finally realized my wireless adapter was only seeing my home network. I never installed the antenna and once I quickly connected them I was able to see multiple wifi networks and could then connect. Check to see how many wifi networks you are detecting. You need to see at least two. Good Luck...

I know the HUD doesn't work for any of the NJ poker sites. My HEM won't register any of the hands I'm playing. I tried to site setup, but I must be doing something wrong. Can someone walk me through the way to set this up properly? Thanks!

BTW, we're not talking signals as in bars (like a cell phone's signal strength). We're talking about how many WiFi access points you see. Apologies if you already knew this
PartyPoker. Def only have one access point while playing, and yeah I know its access points and not bars.

This seems possible. Also, I'm not aware of having tech savy neighbors, but maybe a neighbor has their SSID hidden so it doesn't show yet is still pingable?

It's all very deceiving. I accumulated over 200 points and am just 20% of my way towards the goal of getting the first 10% released. 2 pts per $1 may be true but you need to get 1000 points for every 10%. Absolutely absurd.

I have HEM2 and it works for party/Borgata. You just need to point the input directory the party/Borgata hand history directory and use Party Poker (regardless of it being party or Borgata) as the site. The only problem I seem to have with it is that sometimes, some tourneys won't load the hands.

I don't know about HEM1. I used to have it, but upgraded when they said they weren't going to support it anymore.

Not being political, but for those who are complaining about this rollout, the headline on Drudge says 50,000 have signed up for online poker in NJ (while only 741 got through the NJ Healthcare website). Yes there are hitches, but it is going surprisingly well, all things considered.

Good point and well taken, but if I wanted to be a downer this statement can be torn to shreds:

You couldn't possibly set the bar lower than the healthcare.gov fiasco so that's not really saying much and even then you're comparing a single state system to an national website in uncharted water attempting to service a much larger audience when the poker sites had years of experience from successful offshore companies to model themselves off of.

Why not compare the NJ launch to the NY single state healthcare launch which appears to be running quite well. If we set that standard then it's a massive fail.

Of those 50K, how many are people who signed up for multiple sites. How many are playing poker? How many deposited? How many have already given up? Sure a lot of people may have signed up, but so what?

Yeah, I might just being a pessimistic dick here, but point/counter-point. It's better than no poker, but those numbers don't mean much.

Are you F'ing kidding me? I just got booted from 888 mid hand multi-tabling 25/50 cent, holding J/8 on one table, flopped 88q turn 3, just bet, 3 handed to the turn, not sure what happened, a2 suited on the other table on the button boots me as I'm going to raise.

"Having trouble validating your location..."

Now cannot log in.

And why the F isn't there live chat support that immediately pops up?

Any time I've contacted through email they take days to just send a bullshat generic automated email.

This is still garbage and this was easily the best site of 4 I've tried so far.

I'm having the same problem on WSOP, and I haven't had any dc issues since early soft open. But at least the tables are named after NJ towns and not NV anymore!

Now I log in, but what happens to that hand?

And I'm pretty sure I lost $3 or so that was in play in the one hand just by default from being disconnected.

So aggravating and leaves no trust or faith.

so decided to give signing up a go tonight. thought id share.

went w 888

Downloaded client at 715pm. filled in all my info.
It said my name and social sec# dont match. riiiiiiight.
live chat popped up asked me to load id verif files.
but then i couldnt log in. had to reset pw ( i knew my PW).
logged on and after taking pics of my id verf files i uploaded them fine.
live chat pops up and says it will take up to 72 hours to confirm.

while i had live chat on i asked about location id bc it says they cant locate me

ill try later on my laptop. but she said i needed the following.

have to be connected to wifi
be in range of 2 or more networks/signals all having 3 or more bars.

i complained back and forth politely " cant u just ping my ip ? cant u just call my land line theres got to be easier ways to do this"

then she gave me a link to get a free wifi Adaptor
http://888nj.loyaltypointstore.com/promotion/form.php
i fill out the form and click enter and it said " i appear to have already ordered". not sure what that means. maybe live tech ordered for me.

all told it took until 810pm to get to that point.

ill have to wait and see about 1. my id verf docs for up to 72 hours, 2. getting my desktop wifi connected and then getting location verified, 3. trying it out on my laptop.

i dont know? if my id docs go through and this wifi Adaptor works id say on a 1-10 annoyance/hassel level this was about a 2.5 for me. now if those things dont work it will be a solid 8. so ill see.

As ive said b4 i think this is too hard for new/casuals to be expected to put up with. and that sucks for growing the game. but i hope things will get easier. like point mouse.download.play. kind of easy.

it would be nice to be playing by the weekend. but ive waited 2 years 8 months i can wait a few more days.

No one who's a casual player is going to put up with this, at least at any limits above the true 10/20 cent micros.

I just got booted mid hand again.

Fack this.
