MoneyTaker is a Russian-speaking hacker group that attacks banks and legal organizations. Effective since May 2016. As of 2021, it was not possible to identify members of the hacker group.
During this period, the group carried out at least 22 identified attacks on various companies. Sixteen of them came from US banks, 5 from Russian companies, and one from a company in the UK.
