MuchBetter payment provider discussion - Internet Poker

I'm looking into this because it offers flexibility for me but it only works through the app and each time I try to input my card info it just crashes on me.

Anyone have any luck with them, really frustrating to deal with.

I have an iPhone and it works for me...although I have not used it much. I did a test with only 20 USD which I did depsoit and after that withdraw to see how fast and if it works and also how much exchange rate fees they charge cause I am from Germany and therefore use Euros. It did work and after that I deposited some more onto MB and also made a deposit on a site. I do not plan on leaving much money on it though.

Edit: Once I tried to log in and it didnt work...wrote to support and they answered within two hours...although the login did work again 10 minutes after I wrote support.

i use it for gg/party/stars its the absolute best.

in terms of funding it i use my bank, like email money transfers. so cannot help you with your card deleting issue as i dont add a card.

Can anyone kindly tell me the best way to use the APP muchbetter to send the funds I withdrew directly into my bank account. Actually a walkthrough be be great as I'm completely clueless with this APP.

Barely used it, just made a small withdrawal from Stars to my account, both is in $.
Pokerstars exchanged the $ to euro before I got it to my muchbetter account, costed me about 3%. Just waiting for a reply from stars now on why they do so.

Never used it the 2% uncapped fee for withdrawing from there to any bank account is a good enough reason to never touch it for me.

I would say they are a very trustworthy company, I know several of the principals (a number of them are former poker industry guys).

With Transferwise you can withdraw your money there for almost no fees. Did it several times with Neteller, Skrill, Ecopayz and MuchBetter. Works perfect and is very very cheap.

I still use it for PokerStars and also have used it for 888. Works fine and I have done several withdrawals so far.

Just a heads-up, they seem to be having major staff issues at the moment. Could be Brexit/Covid related so hopefully temporary. They've set support tickets to auto-close so there's no way to contact them.

Everything automated still works (moving money between poker accounts, using the debit card etc) but anything requiring staff input is taking weeks/months. Tons of recent negative reviews on Trustpilot/Play Store from people waiting for account verification or bank withdrawals.

I'd imagine your money's still safe but probably better to use other options until they make some kind of statement about what's going on.

I deposited some money per bitcoin but somehow the timewindow closed and now the money is I don't know where and as Imp stated, you don't get customer support emails. Jeez.. I could have saved that money and let it riiise, but no. Better deposit and lose that money

This. I don't think you can even use pms with a brand new account. And for sure wouldn't send any log in details to some random account saying they are the support.

Dave - support tickets are currently set to auto-close in the app. Immediately after sending a message it says "this ticket has been closed". That's not a good look, even if you've got a backlog.

There's an issue when using the MuchBetter card for online purchases - if a transaction isn't completed the pre-authorisation never drops off (and a decent amount of online transactions seem to decline in this fashion). I'm only owed £6.95 at the moment - going back to December - but with no support available I'm reluctant to use the card online. I'm guessing this process isn't automated?
