Are we getting the same amount of FPPs as VPPs during this promotion? Or are the FPPs staying at their current rate?

Changing the buy in structure on FTP increased rake.

I was the first one to bring up the rake discrepancy on the stars thread, from the micros on up. I noted that I made more fpps and more profit playing SNGs. Actual experience told me, with the short stacking nits, there is less rake on 20-50bb tables, because of shove fests (which usually don't get called - so no rake in pot). Then the multi-tabling short stackers where there to try and collect vpps. So we were probably looking at stats of around 9/8.

Actual experience told me they were losing rake at the micros (hence, the later rake increase). MT2R really needs to loose more of his fanboy status, and make realistic mathematical objective conclusions.

Would be interesting, after Boku made his money from those SNG MTTs, that they would change the structure. Hope the 90 and 180 man don't go away.

Could someone please link to where the discussion of the SNG changes are? I've tried searching, and I can't find the thread. Someone asked earlier in this thread about these changes, but he didn't get a reply.

You do know the rake is capped, right?

Will these additional VPPs allow you to clear Stellar Bonus etc quicker?

If you're playing stakes where the rake is always capped @ the flop because the pot is $60 or more, then the 50bb versus 100bb wouldn't apply. For 99% of us who play stakes where the pot doesn't automatically max out the rake, these things matter and are pertinent to the discussion.

That's fair enough, I don't know how the rake is affected at microstakes. But you play 100 and 200 right? We had this discussion in the other thread and I know you're fairly unmovable on it. But if enough people tell you you're wrong, maybe you should at least think things over one more time...

They are under "Sit n Gos," then "Mulit-Table," then "Micro."

Edit: Once you do that, you can input "1.1 -d" to the filter and that would give you only the 1.10 July special tourneys.

The SnGs are going off every two or three minutes or so, and its off peak. The shares are going to amount to three or four dollars. F that.

Damned, I started a bunch slowly (to avoid them going into the bubble/difficult spots all at the same time), now it's 12:55 and I could use a break and now I notice these things don't have a break at all. The 45 mans do, these 50 man ones don't.

I hope these 50 man's are not a preview of the sit n go changes, cause they are crappier structure then what they have now. These remind me of Ipoker structures, yuck!

Stars, hire me if you need someone for sit n go's

Aren't the 50 mans the same as the current 45 man turbo structure except instead of 5 minute levels they're 6 minutes?

Every 3 mins (going with low estimate to account for really off peak times) on average is 20/hour, so about 480/day or ~15,000 for July.

Then the value of a share is about $6.67 or about 15 cents in added equity, assuming someone different wins each tourney (lol), you have no advantage against the field (lmao) and quit after winning 1 (can't get more than one share). So in reality a decent player probably gets close to $1 in bonus equity.

yup should be 12-15k in total

too bad you can't get more than one share I already won one;
stars should have make those 2.2 then I would have concidered grinding those for a bit; with 50% roi and 25 an hour, would have been ok money, but at 1.1 impossible to make more than $10-12 an hour.

Steve

Good changes to the smaller bonuses to make them a better value for the lower limit players. Are you guys planning to change the larger bonuses as well? Maybe make the larger bonuses a little cheaper or add a little extra cash to them? Also do you think you guys will change the Milestone Credit structure? There is just such a huge gap between 100,000VPP and 200,000VPP. Thanks

No changes are expected to the larger bonuses.

I will keep your suggestion in mind about the MileStone cash credits when changes for 2011 are considered, thanks for contributing.
