Microstakes cash games on Stars (non-NLHE and PLO)

Looked for an official Pokerstars thread that was relevant to this topic but couldn't find one - feel free to move/close if in the wrong place.
Why on Earth do Stars not offer games below 25nl for non-NLHE/PLO? The traffic at the higher stakes looks very low, and no wonder: there is no training ground for newbies. I'm looking to branch out from NLHE but I'm hardly going to jump into a 25nl courchevel game, and play money isn't an adequate substitute. I don't see the harm in offering a 1c/2c game of each variety to allow people to muck around and practice before jumping into the larger games.
