anyone have success cashing out lately? I'm thinking about depositing here and looking for some idea of how things are going.

Feel free to check the "Merge withdrawal thread", but my last check was requested on 12/6 and processed 1/7, received 1/9. I withdrew another check on 1/7 that is pending. However, there were a few reported checks in the withdrawal thread that came in 2 weeks. I wouldn't expect one in less than a month though just so you don't get your hopes up.

On a side note: If you weren't aware Players Only/ Sportsbook is segregated from Aced/Carbon/Poker Host for all games, caps your tables for MTTs and SNGs (mine is 4, some I've heard are more and some less, though I'm not sure anyone is less than 4 now) and caps your cash game tables. I and many others can't even play cash here because they kicked us out of ring games for winning.

You'd be much better off signing up to Carbon, Aced or PokerHost than to one of the skins listed in this thread.

I want to play on Players Only because the play seems so much softer while most of the sickos are on the other side of the Merge Network. I am just trying to get some feedback on how cashouts are going. I have been playing there but haven't withdrew yet..

Same cashier as Aced/Carbon. Cash outs are taking about a month.

When did you receive it/try to cash it? The one I got about a week and a half ago did not bounce. I had one roughly a month ago that did and they told me they put a stop on the account.

Technically that's true, they are criminals for trying to send you a check for a withdrawal from your account in the US - that's a crime under the UIGEA. They're not criminals because the payment processor that they used for this illegal transaction ended up sending you a bad check, that's an occupational hazard faced by every US player who continues to pretend that getting paid from a US facing site is risk-free.

The good news is that Merge has a very good record of making these things right and there's no indication whatsoever that they are cash poor, so contact the cashier and get a new one issued and hopefully you can report back soon that you got a new check and it cleared. Good luck!

Has anyone left the U.S. to try and get paid quicker by PO or SB? They told me I can get it all out very fast if I move temporarily and give them a different address. Just wondering if anyone else has done it and what some of the ins and outs are for getting the money back to the US.

The recent software update changed the hand history directory. You'll want to check in the poker client to see the new default directory, then update your HEM/PT accordingly.

I have a full time job and am hardly a professional poker player, but I have been a winning player on SB for years. Pre-Black Friday I played DoN SNGs, post I played .50/1 and 1/2 9max and had rakeback, and when they got rid of that I went to low stakes MTTs. Last week my table limit was reduced from 4 to 2. I have read through this thread and see that has happened to others, but it seems like they usually do it to real grinders. I just play $10 tournaments and sattys for the most part. Today I noticed that they have a new Maximus series coming up, so I fired up a chat with the "support" staff to see if I would still be limited to 2 tables during that series. I had to get through 2 people before I finally reached a supervisor. Below is some of the conversation:

I feel your pain man. I'm not even allowed to play cash on PO anymore lmao. My tables limit for MTTs/SNGs is 4, but I rarely play on there anymore.

Move to Carbon or Aced, they have a different player pool but the table limit is 18 and they don't ever change it or ban you for winning.

Merge is not broke and there is no reason to think they are. Send in your docs again, it isn't that complicated. You can upload them directly from the client.

It sucks you're having so many issues but that doesn't mean they are broke. I get a check from Merge every 3-4 weeks and have for awhile now and have only had 1 bounce living in the US.


Do you talk to the site reps the same way you post here? Having manners goes a long way when you have issues.

I only called you out because posting **** about a site being broke is a pretty big deal when it's no where near true.

You need to be sure your documents are under 2mb in size when you upload them, or support will not receive them. This has been the case for as long as I can remember... please check your document size and convert them to jpgs if they do not meet the size requirements. Then upload them again.

Everyone has been paid since 2005, you will not be the exception. Try to calm down a bit
