^^^ Sounds great, but WU works fine just double and triple check. Put it in US dollars and your playing in 30 minutes.

Wow, requested my check on 9/11. 3
Days after the day where the "batch" goes out,
So that means I'm going to have to wait a whole nother month to get my funds?
So wierd being use to getting a stars check in 1-2 weeks to now waiting 2 months. I don't get why it takes so long.

It appears that this batch caught up through most of 9/8 requests.

Actually, while a site certainly needs to have reasonable cash-out speeds, a huge issue is the ability to get funds onto the sites. Many recreational players, and in fact pro/semi-pro players don't care for the idea of shipping cash off to foreign countries. They just want to swipe their CC or do an e-check. Well, obviously e-checks aren't available in this climate, so it's CC processing that needs to get back up.

Cashout requests are only approved once they are done. When it is approved, that means your check has been made by the processor and is about to be stuffed into a FedEx envelope, at which point, it'll take 3-7 days to arrive.

BINGO. This is the biggest factor. CC processing has declined all summer long from 500 to 400, to 250, to 150, to 100 (if available at all, which it isn't always for new customers). This is the single biggest problem.

There is a solution in the works....

Not necessarily. And in fact, I sincerely doubt your speculation on the time-frames. Batches do not come once a month as you suspect, they come as they are able to be processed. There are myriad factors that affect this. Again, there are also other changes on the horizon to help.

Insofar as why it takes so long... this is how it is in the US facing market. There isn't a site out there that takes < 3 weeks. Some take 4-5 MONTHS.

Support the PPA, bug the **** out of your congressional representatives. Let's get the restrictions on processing poker funds overturned!

I am with PPA.
And according to ACR they can have your cash in hand in 48/72 hours. Very legit I must say. I just don't see why it takes so long to get my check. It shouldn't take a month and half and still not even have it approve from pending.
Very annoyingly frustrating.

How long on average to get the tracking number? I kind of doubt your claim as last time I had a check approved, it took 3-4 days for it to ship out. It has been over a year though, maybe it has changed since then.

Well etothemc, looks like those checks are arriving even faster than I anticipated (2 days from approval), faster than you speculated, and all across the board no less. Players are not given the tracking numbers, they just receive approval and the check follows shortly.

Yep, a pleasant surprise after waiting so long to get approved. The last time I received a check, it came from the Philippines and took forever. That being said, the whole process still took way too long. I will be staying away from Merge until they can get check processing times cut down to 3 or fewer weeks on a consistent basis.

The 2 day arrival, does not make up for the month you have to wait to get approved.
Been a month allready for me and y'all tell me mine will be in the next batch, which would make my waiting Time to get approved around 2 months.
Obviously you, Ryan and Chris can see why this is frustrating for me, especially since the only reason I played on this site cause the reputation was decent for withdrawal

Rather disgusted by this-

Requested BCP $2k to Neteller on 10/8- Still waiting!

Requested Carbon ~$1k to Neteller on 10/15- Still waiting.

I had a $6k cash out to Neteller on BCP process in 4 days, 2 weeks ago.

Something is wrong on BCP.
10-17-2012 , 09:00 PM
Still waiting on bcp. I think I cashed out sep 7.

So got my check today, When the bank to deposit....seems like they went full ****** all the sudden. (very large national bank). They didnt give me any trouble with the last check, this time they wanted to go 6 week hold on me cause is was Canadian. First they wanted to say the check did say US dollars then when i pointed out the US funds right under they amount then they said the whole Canada thing. Then I pointed out the NY office...they lady started gettin pissed. Had to basically threaten to leave before the manager agreed to look at in the morning and remove any hold that occurred. They never did ask what it was for.
10-17-2012 , 10:00 PM
^deposit via ATM. no more talking to ******s.

rofl what a rookie mistake, drive up to ATM, swipe card, insert check, get receipt done and done
10-18-2012 , 11:32 AM
Unless there's a hot teller that you're trying to impress, there's absolutely no reason to not deposit in the ATM machine.
10-18-2012 , 11:47 AM
Do you guys think just because it goes into the ATM machine that no one is going to look at it and place a hold on it?
10-18-2012 , 11:55 AM
Deposit ATM assume 7 day hold. Easy game.

Does anyone really go in a bank anymore.
