Lord only knows when they will begin even processing cashouts again. I had a skrill w/d pending for a month or so, before cancelling it yesterday. This cashout stall has been going on longer than the netwrok change speculation has been going on, which has me concerned a lil.

But if you express too much concern here, you are looked at as an angry troll, kinda like those who warned of FTP. :?:

I am of the opinion that you had a misfortune of timing. Skrill was taking 7-10 days typically, with some outliers at 14 days after NFL season started. The BCP rumors, while public for only a couple weeks now, have been private for longer. As yet there has been no public announcement as to what is going to take place with BCP, but it has been leaked by myriad sources in the public forums. If we take that leak at face value, coupled with the time that the rumors truly began, I believe the following scenario took place:

1) You requested a Skrill withdrawal
2) The, then standard, 7-10 day wait ensued (potentially 14)
3) BCP made it's decision to move some time near the time you would likely have been paid normally
4) Player withdrawals are put on hold as all of the business side of the transaction takes place. Moving a chunk of money of this magnitude often involves some type of escrow...

Submitted 9-20

Now it looks like receiving anything before Jan 1 is a pipe dream.

Hell, the worlds gonna end before that.

Makes sense, Kahn. I just have to cynically laugh at the fact that deposits are still a go.

Though it's entirely possible that this is true, do we know this for a fact? I do not...

Is merge so ****ing stupid that they don't know we know they are responsible for the slow ass bcp check processing? I hope noone jumped from one skin of a dirtbag poker site for a different skin run by the same douchebags. Also, bump

Black Chip Poker is moving networks. The money has been in escrow. Withdrawals could not be processed. If you scroll up, I described how this process very likely affected one player with a ROW cash-out... one can then extrapolate as to how this will have affected US players waiting on cash-outs as well.

I suggest checking the Official Blackchip poker thread here in Internet Poker for more details concerning what will happen with your pending withdrawals.

Does anyone know if or when BCP will start paying people out?
12-01-2012 , 05:41 PM
Starting next week.
Maybe a Winning Poker thread needs to be started?
12-01-2012 , 07:31 PM
There's no evidence that points to the cashout delay as either Merge's fault or Black Chip's fault. Could be one, the other or both.

But clearly making people wait is less than ideal. I don't understand why they could not have agreed to whatever terms, made some sort of a variable escrow fund, and after the non cashing out players moved, the cashout players could be added into the deal and the final figure settled via the escrow. Or some sort of accommodation for the people that had to wait a long time at least (fill in the specifics based on the private info of the negotiations/deal).

They could've at least done that for cashouts prior to say November 5th or 10th.

In any case, sounds like BCP player funds will be on Winning early next week and hopefully cashout timeframes stay similar to what they are now and everyone gets money really fast.

Taking deposits while in the waiting process isn't really shady though. It's not a situation where a skin is going out of business or disappearing (like a FTP pre black friday thing). Some players want to play and given that over two weeks ago BCP was saying they expect to share good news in a week, this process likely delayed 1-2 weeks longer than expected.

So yea, not ideal, but not the worst situation in the world, provided Winning Network cashouts remain super fast.

PDC WU Requests:

$870 Req 11/12, Approved 11/13
$870 Req 11/19, Approved 11/21
$870 Req 11/26, Approved 11/30

PDC still hasn't migrated to Jazette yet, so I'm going for one more now.

Hi, Do Carbon and RPM use the same cashier? If not, is one any quicker than the other for proccessing checks for U.S. players?

Thanks
12-04-2012 , 03:15 PM
So what skins are supposedly on a different cashier?

Is it still Carbon/PDC/Aced/Sportsbook/Players Only?

Are the cashouts quicker? Are any of those skins leaving?
