It's probably the best possible date there is in next few weeks.
I don't think so, every sunday is better than Jan 1st, at least for me and my friends, no one is starting up the PC hangoverish...
But I guess there must be numbers for last years Jan 1st?

I suggest that the ones able to change avatars, switch it to an HORIZONTAL HALF RED/BLACK AVATAR, as the ones used on strikes.

I can't do Jan 1st, but I hope you guys start then and don't stop until Stars makes a change. I'll join in a few days later.

Could we set up a list of what we don't like and what we want ? Don't wanna end up like those random alcoholic strikers who strike but don't even know what they want ? Would be cool to add this in the OP.

I think one of the major issues is :

1) Increase in the rake cap for 5 handed and 3 handed games
Make this back to the way it was previously

Dealt -> WC is obviously an issue for a lot of us, but personally I don't think they're going to change it. However, what they can do is offset this by a little extra, like a slightly higher VPP multiplier, as said, from 5.5x to 6x

Also, probably good to select a few stakes specifically, rather than just sit-out randomly, because I'm pretty sure it's going to be impossible to block all of NL2.

I think what was lost in the argument about it, is that a move to WC is a rake increase for the majority of regulars. Rake increases are bad.

I don't care if they use dealt, WC, WTA, BBQFU or any other method, what I do care about is that money going to stars is increasing, and money given to players is decreasing, and that's not okay with me.

So, I wouldn't necessarily push for Rake Method X over Rake Method Y. What I'd push for is to tell stars to look at the numbers, and if overall rake in 2012 is higher for players vs. the same amount of hands in 2011, they need to go back to the drawing board or lose customers.

Just want to reiterate a strike doesn't do anything unless people are willing to stick to it until Stars makes a change. A one day strike is useless. But Jan 1st, 12pm Eastern sounds like a good time to start an indefinite table blocking campaign.

I'd suggest focusing on $1/2+ NL and PLO 6max and then expanding to other stakes/games if enough people do it.

Enough people will do it ! But yeah I agree one day is not enough... we need to let them know that we will not give in, thats the only way.

sigh, was going to make a genuine SNE run this year, now PS has screwed it over for me

I'm in and will have to move all my action to party, if PS aren't quick to do something it will have to be permanently

Auto sitout script with 5-6 players combined with auto chat ("RAKE IS TOO HIGH WITH 5-6PLAYERS" etc.) should make it easier to people while still making it possible to bumhunt a bit.

+1

But we need to have an actual plan before that time. So we dont spread out over 20 limits / games..

We need to completely block limits and we need everyone who wants to participate to know where and when. So please organise this.

Also people need to type in chat why they're sitting out, so whenever they sit out, they can paste this frase in the chat.

OK of course to massive sitout. If all players don't make it, then you will be really all huge sheeps.

French players have make a sitout on ps.fr to decrease the rake and with many time, "this have works" and this country is full of sheeps.

I'm pretty sure than the sitout will works, just we must talk about it everywhere

The steal is too big

Every1 just should short stack 24 6max nl and plo tables as high as possible.

Having a phrase is also good, OP needs to be edited to have 3-4 points that ALL agree upon (leave the wc vs dealt out of it and just demand increase in rb% whatever system, decrease rake, eliminate hurting changes to players buttom line etc etc).

Rake increase is the only problem imo.
This!

I don't want to protest against the new (contributed) rake calculating method. The old method is not fair because uber nits get the same rakeback as people who keep the game alive.

However, I do want to protest against the rake increase and imo the rake was already too high for the current state of the games. The rake should be lowered instead of increased!

Stars won't miss my rake either way but I would think you need to move quickly before they update the client in some way to minimise the impact.
