Lucky Ace Poker(a skin of 888) is rated highly at Pokernews:

http://www.pokernews.com/luckyace-poker/

But 888 has gotten awful reviews at PokerScout.

I am in a country where very few venues are available. Do 2+2 forum members recommend Lucky Ace Poker or not?
Thank you.

Take note the medium you're reading the reviews on.

Pokernews clearly has an affiliate deal with them so of course there is going to be a positive review.

Pokerscout on the other hand is a site filled mainly with people who think online poker is rigged. If you actually like a site, chances of you going on pokerscout and giving a positive review are small, but if you think it's rigged, you'll probably try to tell everyone.

Played on luckyace for a little bit, no problems. They used to have under the table rakeback which was the only reason I can think of to play on there. But now that those are gone (at least that I know of), I don't see why youd play on luckyace over 888.

Thanks for the useful information. 888 is blocked here but Lucky Ace Poker is not.

Very good points. Most "review" sites can't be taken all that seriously.

I think 2+2 is a pretty good place to get a wide sampling of opinions (of course, I'm biased) - the only way in which OP went wrong was not searching before starting a thread. You wouldn't find much on Lucky Ace specifically, but according to this thread, 888 owns them now:

Which should mean that 888 reviews/feedback would work as well; you'll find lots of those here. This should be a good place to start:
