I'm a huge poker fan living in MA, U.S.

Since I busted WSOP Main last Summer, I wish to participate another similar one so I started a WPT Global (Not allow to play in the U.S.) last August after I saw Rampage’s Instagram feed. I noticed he was using a VPN (I saw a VPN company, too) for WPTG. In addition, I watched Andrew Neeme’s Youtube live stream and noticed he was playing on the WPTG in the U.S.
I watched frequently and similar type of feed and live stream.

Since 2016(Andrew) 2019(Rampage), I’ve always been watching them, supporting them as a fan and led me to believe that I can play from the U.S., as well. I genuinely did not think it was going to be a problem using a VPN before I got a warning email from WPTG.

Prior to receiving this email, I did receive an email informing of my win on the WPT Championship Package $12400, winning 3 satellites $22>$220>$1060>$12400, and I had completed claiming my prize with my verified Canada address (refer to the attached bank statement). After receiving the warning email, I immediately stopped playing. About two weeks after claiming my prize, I received an email that my account was locked and two weeks later, received another email informing me of cancellation of my prize due to usage of VPN.

According to the terms and conditions (of WPT Global joining requirement), there is no area or wording that specifies that only site ambassadors are allowed to use VPN nor are allowed to play in the U.S.

To prevent any negativity affecting our fellow poker players around the world for the historical 40 million dollar guaranteed event, I had waited to post this experience until the championship event ended.

Unfortunately, I do not have any connection, influence, power, or name in our poker community but I do believe this discriminatory matter is important and needs to be taken seriously.

Any advice or support would be sincerely appreciated. I look forward to hearing from you all/your help would be very much appreciated.
