so I noticed the e-transfer recently became a withdrawal option on PartyPoker and I wanted to try it. Withdrew $70 and a few days later got an email saying they sent me money, went to deposit it to my bank and was prompted to enter the security answer, problem is PartyPoker never sent me a security answer.

Checked all my emails, junk mail, phone, nothing, they never sent me the security answer.

So I emailed PartyPoker and got a response saying they "escalated it" to the proper department and would get back to me in 24hrs. Its been a week now and still no response. Emailed them again and they just say that they're still waiting for a response.

Why does it even need to take this long? All I need is the security answer to deposit the money to my bank, just give me the answer, why is it taking a week or longer?

What should I do at this point? Is my money gone?

I pm'd ColetteStewart and she says she cannot handle financial issues and told me to live chat PartyPoker. Thats what I did over a week ago. I have a feeling if I live chat them again they'll just "escalate it" to the relevant department again.

I cannot understand why its taking this long for such a simple issue. They created the security question so they must have the answer, all they need to do is email it to me. why does it have to take over a week is beyond me

Oh this is just great, here is their latest email to me:

"Dear xxx,

Thank you for contacting Customer Service.

We inform you that if you claim that you have not received SMS or email regarding interacetransfer payment then you should contact csr@gigadatsolutions.com and check with them directly."


Are you ****ing kidding me? PartyPoker needs to give me the security answer why would Gigadat Solutions have it? Took them over a week just to send me this useless email.

I am about to make a "PartyPoker stole $70 from me" thread if this doesn't get resolved.

alright so I did email the Gigadat people and they just emailed me back with the security answer, and so I finally deposited the $70 to my bank.

but this doesn't excuse PartyPoker's bad handling of the situation, taking a whole bloody week to email me back with "uhh.. you should email them instead of us"

also wanted to mention the tone on that last email "We inform you that if you claim that you have not received SMS or email regarding interacetransfer payment..." as if to insinuate that I'm the idiot for not receiving the security answer that they never sent me.

terrible customer service, will never deposit on PartyPoker again.

Since Im feeling kind of pissed off about all this and they didnt even apologize for wasting my god damn time I'm gonna post the whole email history and timeline of everything so every potential PartyPoker depositor can see what they could be in for if they decide to deposit to this site.

Here it is:

June 12 - Requested withdrawal of $70 on PartyPoker via e-transfer



June 13 - Withdrawal of $70 approved and being processed



June 16 - Received an email saying Gigadat sent me money



Since I never received the security answer which was needed to actually deposit the money into bank account I reached out to live chat support who said they escalated it to the relevant department, I got this email after that live chat, telling me they'd get back to me "within 24hrs"



June 19 - After 3 whole days of waiting I still haven't received any replies from the "relevant department" so I emailed them again to see if there were any updates.



They basically told me they're still waiting for the "relevant department" to get back to them and they dont have any new info



June 23 - After over a whole ****ing week I finally received a response from the "relevant department" basically saying to just email someone else. Couldnt they have just told me that 8 days ago?



As I've said I already emailed Gigadat and resolved this, they sent me the security answer within minutes of the email and I was able to deposit the $70 successfully.

PartyPoker however took 8 days to tell me to email someone else, this pissed me off enough to make this post.

To future PartyPoker depositors:

If you plan on playing on PartyPoker just realize that if you're looking to withdraw via e-transfer you may face the same issues I did. Also if you have any hiccups in your withdrawal prepare for a very long delay before you get any response from their terrible customer service.

It is purely mindboggling how bad customer service is for online poker. It is a systemic issue, across the industry not site specific.

If you don't have an inside contact, it is maddening.
