I play HU and having never played sky poker before I thought I'd give it a try.
I must have created an account years ago so i couldnt get a new affiliate account so i'm playing with zero rakeback on a site with very high rake.

I deposited 1k and sat at 1/2 and 2/4 just to try it out. I got zero fish action, I did play 1 reg for about 100 hands and won a buyin or so, then quit him. I had deposited no roll to play anyone with a brain with that rake.

Then maybe i quit one other reg who sat me at both tables and i didnt want to play.

Anyway I just wanted so see if it was a really fishy site or not. Turns out it wasnt(plus i found out huds dont work), so after 3 days i cashed out my roll and moved on.

Then i got an email from them to say that I was permanently banned from ALL sky services and i had to phone them to get an explanation.(though i was getting my cashout ok)

The guy on the phone told me it was because of my predatory HU behaviour and that it would not be reinstated.

few things wrong with sky poker they actually refused to provide me with hand history. I have never before had any site refuse they also refuse to allow any data recording software like poker tracker etc during or after play.

the only way to get hand history is through the software that only stories 500 hands at a time and you cannot look at data combined but have to look at every hand individually.

I have done a few online rants about bad luck before, it seems every now and then i just go on a run of luck where everything goes against me no matter what i do. However I once did the maths on this sort of thing and proved with my sample sizes it should happen from time to time and looked at data and saw it fairly balanced.

I think that at times many players have questioned if a site/ sites were rigged before. I know I have but I always look at my long term win rates the stats and figures and remain confident that I have yet to find anything out of the ordinary.

However with Sky poker this is literally impossible with Pokerstars Ipoker and several other sites if they were rigged it is reasonably likely that someone could prove it.

with a site that bans regs and targets marketing towards fish and does not allow hand history, the fact is when I ran bad there I couldnt reassure myself.

Do I think it is rigged? probably not, But the fact is if it was rigged I would never be able to proof it whilst with other sites I would be able to.

the fact that they could completely get away with a rig makes me feel un easy about playing on that site.

I made about several hundred then hit a stumbling block where I was not winning or losing for way to long. personally I was probably running hot in first place I know I should have been winning but my win rate was to high initially.

Just do not feel comfortable with a site that does not allow any hand histories and specifically states it does not want regs.

I have played HU on there for around 4 years, £1/2-£5/10. Got this email out of the blue on Friday.


Tried ringing them and speaking to live chat and they would not tell me anything less vague, just that their decision was final.

One guy on live chat did mention something about bonus abuse, but i have literally never received a bonus, or more than £2.56,, in rakeback on there, so i assume he was just confused and it was for the same reason as OP.

It is safe, and definitely not rigged. They are probably just going the way Unibet went.

I got exactly the same thing, but accused of "table blocking" not bonus abuse, on the phone call.

I was literally on the site for a weekend and refused action no more than 3 times, and did give some action. You cant win at 1/2 with their rake and no RB deal playing anyone whos smart so obviously there has to be table selecting

Maybe the one u didnt play reported u. It is not bumhunting if u dont play some people or if some butthole keeps taking seat. Ban total is also too much even if u bumhunt. I had a chat w their support once, the first time a support has insulted me, nice welcome, though they got the job done.

I used to be a riggie and I proofed to myself it wasn't rigged and became a winning player. these days I don't go calling sites rigged willy nilly etc.

I am not calling sky poker rigged what I am saying is that unlike other sites where I can look at data and proof it not rigged, or if it ever was proof it so, On sky poker I cannot.

Thus if sky poker was rigged there would be no way of proving it.

thats what bothers me about sky poker.

Pretty much same happened to me but on Saturday long term HU player there, not spoke to support yet but guess it's pointless lol

hope they will ban every bumhunter and every HU player( nl50 and above) HU players who are waiting for fish to sit at their table should all be banned. this kind of poker player, kill the industry! ....
