do they 6000 active players and bring in 850 new players a month?

No they are lucky to have 500 online at once so the answer is iPoker1

you are often right but I think here you might be wrong. according to pokerscout everest has 972 cash players online right now - compared to iPoker's 5009.

I think with almost a 5th of all iPoker's combined cashgame traffic they will be on 2 for sure.

(This is just my opinion, can very well be wrong please don't quote me on it later haha)

my bad (i didn't check) memory said 500 if am wrong then so be it, one thing that is right though is that Everest has been bought into the fold for its .fr traffic not its .com traffic

I'm not 'not listening' lol, someone here mentioned that an IPOKER site was showing tables which were not visible on an IPOKER2 site. That is why I am asking. Because IPOKER2 should be showing ALL IPOKER tables, isn't it?

yes that is right.

whether its meant to be or not who knows. I have read things on pokerstrategy that seem to indicate that each will have its own player pools n not cross reference, and then I read other things that it all on iPoker2. what the official anwser is idk but I suspect its somewhere between the 2.

anyway thats enough for me now as my tourneys are getting interesting

You cannot login in two seperate networks because then you can play on the same table on high stakes but in my opinion in lower stakes network are totally separate. If not show me one player who seats on table which is visible from both subnetwork.

500 online at once is probably more than 6000 active player + new 850 signups per month and its only cashgame traffic - dont forget tournament one.

But someone here mentioned that ipoker has tables that can't be viewed in ipoker2. WTF IS THAT?

How is iPoker2 playing in the micros then?

Terribad here on iPoker1. Struggling to get 6 good tables across both NL10 and NL20. Very nitty, seen a couple of decent regs left on this side of the fence also. Really disappointed with the removal of 4max tables.

I am confused.

iPoker1 and iPoker2 - both have different tables up to 200NL for FR and 400NL for 6-max. All HU tables separated + HUSNG $30 or lower separated.

All PLO, MTT, Speed poker and another games in the same network as it was before split.

Also you cant see separated tables.

But as per the articles, IPOKER2 was supposed to be the network with an advantage of having ALL tables on the network, whereas IPOKER1 wouldn't have all the tables!!!

Yeah that's what some article from some newssite said. But like I said when you think of it it makes no sense to do it like that. If all iPoker2 players can play on all tables this means all the (hypothetical) iPoker2 fish would still get eaten by the iPoker1 regs since the fish wouldn't know or care about choosing to only play the iPoker2 tables.

Correct, but if both networks have their own exclusive tables, regs from ipoker2 are still going to miss out on the fish from ipoker1. How is ipoker2 at an advantage for us players then?

the thinking behind that is that in order to be on iPoker2 the skins have to actively recruit new players which will include some fish since most regs already are players and don't qualify as "new". So yes, right now the iPoker2 players are missing out on some fish on iPoker1 but now already there should be more fish on 2 than on 1 and if a skin on 1 sucessfully gets a lot of new players/fish they will move to 2 as well and so on - Plus the 2 skins are required to keep bringing fresh blood in too.

I personally wasn't for the split, just like most players I guess. But I do think it will get better over time (for 2 players that is, and worse for 1 players)

Right, so now let's look at another angle. Why should any 'regs' continue playing on ipoker1? All or atleast most of them would be smart enough to shift to ipoker2 for obv reasons, so then wouldn't that leave ipoker1 with only the fish??? LOL

Yeah that's the plan obviously. The iPoker2 skins will have to split the player base with less competitors. Downside for the regs will be worse VIP systems for most. Upside is the skins have now an incentive to actively bring on new players.

I did not get you All I can see is ipoker1 having no regs and only fish in the long run, which makes it better to play on ipoker1 then. So confusing!

regs are not stupid. if there really are so many fish on iPoker1 the regs will play there too.
the number of fish will not get bigger on iPoker1, it will get lower even because some fish bust and dont come back. The number of fish on iPoker2 will grow since the skins there need to bring new players to stay on 2.

This is the plan like I said - I don't say I know what will happen.

Agreed. So basically, slowly but surely, ipoker1 is going to die completely eh?!

I will leave the poker skin i'm playing! Only about 8 tables NL 200 6MAX with no fish!

WTF?! Only the big houses will survive with no rakeback deals :S
