I haven't tried them myself.

I think its very safe to assume that any pokersite that works in countries like germany and belgium, also work in The Netherlands

AFAIK theres not a single poker site that is allowed in other eu countries, but is restricted in The Netherlands.
Ive also never heard of any form of *POKERSITE*.nl, (like italy has pokerstars.it with their own playerpool)

kind of messy post as ive only played online for the first time about a year ago. but generally you dont have to be too worried i think, the pokersite you play on is very likely also playable in the netherlands. but definitely do your own research on this

you might want to also look into the dutch taxes on poker. theres a lot of articles on how pokerstars was declared tax-free

Right, no site has dot-NL domains yet, nor anything in Dutch language, because that's a big black mark in the eyes of the regulator and will attract fines and possible issues with licensing, which starts next year.

So most operators continue to take bets from Dutch players and people within the country, but go out of their way not to look like they are trying to attract or encourage Dutch play. They also do not support iDEAL (v popular payment processor in the country)

That will change by (hopefully) January 2021, when new regulatory regime starts. Operators will be applying for a license in a year, and recipients will then launch Dutch sites on dot-NL, support iDEAL, advertising, offer support/website in Dutch language, etc.

They will also pay a high fee for the privilege, so expect some of that to filter down to the consumer in the form of lower rewards.

The Netherlands and Ireland are often on the lists of banned countries. Read the sites' terms and note that some skins might accept some countries the other sites do not and that depends on where they are regulated; and if you have an account there when you get regulated they might or might not kick you out possibly depending on where they are regulated, e.g. WPN has some players who should not be there but are (even Bwin, a Party skin, has). Most of the EU countries are regulated so one might find them also in the terms as not accepted.

Hello All,

anyone from the Netherlands? Since the new legislation I moved to Holland Casino,
Does anyone know if there is a better option?

Assuming we are not breaking any laws here, your only options are Holland Casino(Ipoker skin), Bet365(Ipoker skin) and GGpoker.
Maybe Im missing one but those are the ones I believe are operating with a permit now that provide poker as far as I am aware.
