Since there is no response, I will take that as Infiniti being FOS about the launch. I guess I should have known better.

This is the most activity from them in over a year and they're starting to have a presence on here. I think it just might be time...almost...just as soon as they work some bugs out...and work out the payment kinks.

Ok, fine. You win Kong.

Don't complain Kong. After all you just came 4th in the btc comp for 0.1 coin and you're the rake back king

Or maybe Swag took a somewhat deserved break and will be back at it tonight .

Sadly, it was brought to my attention that we're still waiting on the security certificates for our dedicated servers, and it'll be a few days. As far as I know, we'll be ready to launch soon (tm), in the softest way possible, shortly thereafter. After a two year delay, what's a few more days??

As always, we appreciate your patience, understanding, and play on the site. See you at midnight!

FFS, now the server certificate? You guys couldn't pour piss out of boot if I wrote the directions on the heel. There will be plenty of time for a break when the site is up and running and players are on the site like flies on ****. Now get to work! JK Looking forward to launch.

This might sound like I'm shilling for these guys. I am not. These guys have been in the news a bit and it looks like they are "pre-launching" with some play money games.

It will be interesting to see if they can become a "real" online poker option for the USA in the current legal environment. They have no qualms about trying...Gavin Smith has indicated that much on the Gambling with and Egde Radio Podcast. Legality? Meh, we're gonna try anyway...

And perhaps, maybe just maybe, we'll have another meltdown to watch --- or we can see what the Feds can do to try and shut it 'em down if they get to any size.

I just think this story could eventually deserve some buzz. If I inadvertanly cause some US players to deposit via bitcoin and it doesn't go well --- I'm sorry for that.

The 50% Lifetime rakeback looks interesting...will hurt them if they don't become relatively big...so it looks like they might be aiming for something bigger than Seals with Clubs size.

If you're not affiliated with Infiniti then no big deal. We're all adults here...I think.

I do agree with you that I think they are trying to make a run at being a major player like PS or FTP. I'm playing there for sure as soon as they launch.

PokerFuse did a piece on Infiniti about a year ago. I must say, I'm intrigued by the entire Bitcoin thing right now but I'm also probably more guarded about any U.S.-facing online poker site than at any point right now.

Seems like an interesting idea. It won't prevent them from having their domain seized by the DOJ but at least the funds in bitcoin wouldn't be able to be seized.

I wonder why they used .com?

Is this another site that uses bitcoin?

The way it is setup now they take rake on uncalled bets post flop and there is no rake cap.

Will the site be browser only and require flash? or will there be stand-alone client?

Flash is not safe, you should be looking into html5 instead. Multiple times a year there are flash exploits that allow attackers to take control of your computer just visiting a site.

I asked the same thing. The fundamental explanation is that our CEO, Michael Hajduk, wants to do everything above-board and feels we have nothing to hide, aren't doing anything illegal. He also has some other domains and extensions reserved just in case.

We have rake caps but have not yet posted our rake schedule. There's still stuff we're tinkering with while we are in beta mode. We're going with a pretty standard "no flop, no drop" rake policy.

The site is and will be on a standalone client. Our temporary landing page right now is just for promotion purposes right now.
