I recently placed 335th in the September monthly milly tournament held on ignition poker. When I didn't receive the $1000 payout I reached out to ignition to find out what was going on. Eventually, after countless attempts (I'll spare you by not recounting that nightmare), I finally reached a manager. Management informed me that I tied for 335th place with another player and because they had more chips to start the hand they took the 335th spot. I ecknowledged that I was familiar with that particular tournament rule and would be fine accepting my 336th payout of the same $1,000. He then told me that the other player and I were in competition for 335th place and because he had more chips to start he won the 335th payout and I was erased from existence as if I never played in the tournament at all. I didn't take 336th or 337th or even 428th place....it was as if I didn't play. All my efforts discounted, my $535 entry fee gone, all because I was knocked out at the same time as someone else? I tried to explain to management that this simply couldn't be the rule. No tournament in history has ever been played that way and for good reason. If the 4th and 5th place finishers were knocked out of the tournament by the chip leader during the same hand, as often happens, does the fifth place finisher not receive the $90,000.00 payout for fifth? Does that money go back in to the prise pool? Management then let me know that they couldn't report on other players finishes or of who got paid what. Did this happen to anyone else? should we let them get away with blatant bs like this? Please leave any comment, even just a show of support if you've ever been more than marginalized but bullied by these sites. Thanks for your time.

How many spots were paid ?

If 335 spots were paid then it makes sense and follows all of their procedures.


If more than that got paid then something fishy is going on. But my guess is 335 got paid and you finished 336, which didn't.
