I'm writing this post because I have exhausted all other avenues. I have given Ignition support months to "investigate" my case. They have driven me in circles for over 3 months. They have wrongfully withheld a large % of my earnings and offered me 0 update in the process. Their team has not even accused my account of anything, yet my funds are frozen and I can't login to my account.

My Story:

I grinded my way up to 500nl over the course of a year.

I dropped out of school. Took my crypto gains to get coached by a few euro hs regs. Eventually starting seeing results up to 1knl.

I started at 10nl on ACR. As I gained more confidence in my game I moved over to ignition to play 200nl. A new coach from the US suggested I play on ignition. Where the 200-1knl action was better. I took his advice and jumped in the mix.

He was right. Games were good on Ignition. My red line grew and my strategies started printing. Within a couple months I was playing 500nl regularly.

I told my college friend about the games and how I had learned a strategy to crush the games. My college buddy became more interested in poker. My friend would often play on his laptop while lounging on my couch. He was newer to the game and more of a casual player so he played 25-50nl. We never card shared, ghosted each other, used RTA, multiaccounted etc. We also never played the same stakes.

I thought grind houses were a popular thing in the community so I didn't think anything of this. I now know that two players playing from the same IP is against Ignition ToS. I assume this is why Ignition is freezing my account (even though they have not accused me of doing anything yet).

Account gets "Temporarily Disabled"

After a few weeks of playing on the same IP, Ignition froze my account and withhold my funds. Saying they had to launch an investigation on my account. I was surprised at first but figured it was a routine check on a new winning player to the site. Couple days later the same thing happens to my friend.

I submitted all the documentation requested in a timely manner. Yet, I have received no update from Ignition. There team has been very unprofessional. They have repeatedly lied to me over the phone, through email and chat. They have driven me in circles and stalled for months. The cycle is consistent.

It goes like this:
1. I email them and they tell me to chat.
2. I chat them and they tell me to schedule a call.
3. They never call.
4. I email them and they tell me to send a chat.

Ignition is wrongfully withholding a large percentage of my earnings with no explanation or communication. Their interactions with me have shown a lack of business ethics. I wonder what impact the recent crypto dumps have had on Ignition's balance sheet. Is this the reason why they are stalling so much to release my funds?

I write this post as a warnings to those that currently have funds on Ignition. Yes, the action is good but know that you are taking a counter party risk.

I would be interested to hear about others who are going through similar problems with Ignition. If you are willing to share your story with me DM me. I have heard multiple people going through very similar processes. I'd like to investigate this pattern to get to the bottom of what Ignition is doing.

Is it normal/fair to confiscate someone's funds over having different accounts login in from the same Wifi? It doesn't seem ethical to me that they let you deposit and have no problem with you gambling it away, but as soon as you start winning they seize your funds. I've had my Ignition account for years. Is a warning not sufficient ?

Is this pattern familiar to anyone else?

Evidence:

Here are some screenshots of my emails with support so you can see the timeline of events. I am missing the chat transcripts, but this gives you the general gist:

1. On april 27, 2022 I receive an email saying I need to verify my identity. I submit a withdrawal for $5561. (weird bc I had withdrawn tons of times before this)

3. On May 4, 2022 I reach out to support inquiring about why my withdrawal is taking so long. They respond to tell me my account is temporarily disabled and give me instructions with information to provide. They say it will take 24-48 hours to process my documents.

4. On May 4th, I submit all the requested documentation and asked support to call me so that we can square whatever issue my account had efficiently.

5. On May 10th, I follow up with support because they said they'd process the documents in 24-48 hours.

6. On May 11th, support emails me saying they received my documentation and will contact me with further details soon.

7. On May 22, support schedules a call with their security team. I have the call a couple days later. The agent asks me basic questions like what is UTG? He says they will provide another update in a couple of days.

8. Two weeks go by and I reach out for an update again.

9. On June 12, support says they can't help me via email but if I use the chat function that they will help me.

10. I'm excited to finally fix my account. Only when I get in touch with the chat agent they say that they can't do anything for me. They say I should schedule a call to discuss my account. See the circle?

11. Weeks pass and I receive 0 call. I email them again on July 12.

12. On July 13, they respond saying they can't discuss my account through email but that I should contact them via live chat again.

13. I contact live support again and they can't help me. They say they will call me in 24-48 hours. No one ever calls me.

As you can see this cycle is repetitive. I have exhausted all my options and am unsure how to handle this situation to get my money back. At the minimum I figured I'd share my story to warn others from using Ignition. Does 2+2 have any advice for me?

Here is another account who is a winning 2knl reg. I reached out to him after I saw him post on 2+2 about a similar pattern he encountered dealing with Ignition support. He is dealing with the same pattern :

Is there anybody else experiencing this bs?

I didn't have the same exact problem but I joined under my fathers referral while I was visiting. He guided me through the setup of my account and mistakenly played on the same IP has him off my phone but his wifi and won 3300 playing slots and cleared the bonus and went to wothdrawl and they banned my account gave me my initial deposit back but kept all my winnings.

How long did the process take? When did this occur?

Am I crazy or is this overly harsh punishment?

It's in their interest to keep you playing slots. Banning you seems -ev from the operators perspective.

It took them roughly 3 weeks to get me my initial deposit back which was frustrating since I deposited $180 for my initial deposit and made over $3100 in profit and they kept it.
Said it was confiscated in their review for violating their refer a friend terms.

The owners of this site are criminals. They are stealing your money, plain and simple. When you steal someone's money, you get to spend it and enjoy life. That's what they are doing.

update on this, was able to get access back a couple months ago. Was a massive pain in the ass. Unfortunately the games are good so I continue giving this god forsaken site my action. Actively withdrawing winnings. Not ideal situation having to deal with counter party risk.
