So Dave,

Regarding pending payouts and remaining funds left on their player's account, would they be able to receive the payouts and withdrawal the rest?

Dave made two new posts in the superuser thread, they sound totally legit (his posts).

Unconfirmed: Pitbull Poker Closes Down

Pitbull Poker, the first poker network developed entirely in Flash, has apparently shut down with owners arriving in the middle of the night with a moving truck to load up the computers and office supplies while the night shift customer service staff looked on. According to one report the night shift staff phoned police and arrests were made. Former employees are hoping that the Costa Rican court system sees the owners as potential flight risks and doesn’t allow them to leave the country.

Over the summer some players began to complain about some irregularities with the site.

Definitely a good point. Gonna have to keep an eye out, much like how Futurebet is still operating.

Since the whole network is down, what is know about the other skins on the network? I know 5Dimes is legit. They must be a victim. Are the other skins all separate owners than Pitbull?

As far as I know the only other active skin is the Chinese one http://cctvpoker.com which looks like it may be owned by Pitbull. 5Dimes appears to also have a non-pitbull room, they offered that one for a flash version with no install.

The web site never went down, the poker game is down. It looks like the game servers are totally shut off. The web site is hosted in a different place.

Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: [Microsoft][SQLServer 2000 Driver for JDBC]Broken pipe

It could also be that the user database server has been taken down (and out), which is something they would do in the middle of the night to cover their tracks. Oh wait, that's what happened....

Good work. I knew that there had been a change about the time someone bumped an old thread here about a year ago. I checked back in and there were all these tables, and something just didn't smell right. I think I played academy, too. Too bad because I liked the site - it was something different. Oh well.

Dave,
You were dealing with other employee's who were not being paid and were fired without even being told.

How is it that a light bulb didn't go off when you saw what was happening with the other employee's?

Please ask Mike Haven in the future first before taking upon yourself to split off the thread. Your new thread has been merged back into this thread, there is no reason to start a new one.

OK sorry. How about locking or merging those other two so there aren't 3 going any more?

Shouldn't "Stay away from Pitbull Poker" and "Pitbull Poker Support" be merged and leave the super user thread as is?

Those other two were for players wanting payouts or discussing how crappy the site is, but this thread has all of the information regarding the security issues.
