im assuming we can get our funds quickly and it wont go the way ftp. Im hoping that the above subject poker article will encourage Hero Poker to process withdrawls more quickly (i have 1 pending and am trying to get off more).

I'd like some reassurance that the funds i have on there will get back to me within 2-6 weeks as was stated earlier itt and that i will get paid no matter what. Would be greatly appreciated.

Even if I mean it and our corporate and financial structure is set up to do that, and further restructured after recent events. Again, it is not a matter of convincing anyone, we are well beyond that point, but yes, our company is financially stable if that part of the question.

Sincerely,
David.

i guess we'll find out if this is true

Processors funds get seized all the time, that's basically all this article says. Remember only a couple of months back My Wallet/Quick Tender had all their funds seized and I know of no one who lost their money.

I am looking into this, but I do stand by what I've written as what Protential has quoted. Aside from that, in terms of commenting on the situation, it would be purely speculation on my part. Of course, this is not something I'm just ignoring or haven't considered.

Thank you for not making what looks to be very reactionary and poor comments as some other skins have already.

Subject Poker has an incredible track record post Black Friday, particularly with the events surrounding FTP. They've been ahead of everybody, including major US newspapers (LAT article for example) on all things FTP, both in accuracy and breaking important stories.

Good luck though, you always seem to handle things rather openly and honestly in here, I don't promote you, play on Hero or anything like that and I still stop in here once a month or so to skim.

And there's no need to expand, you've explained the player funds security situation on Merge better and more detailed than any skin to date. When your fellow competitors/skins attack a unique and stellar member of the poker media, they look bad. When you stick to facts, you look good.

Outside of the US, Hero has the same range of payment solutions/support and situation as a site such as PS. We also plan on new promotions for Canadians in October as well.

Dave,

I am a few months into Hero Poker and just wanted to say how great the site is and how awesome you are to take the time and effort to answer as many questions as you have. I hope to see something new as far as freerolls for players who achieve certain status(I.E. a Centurion freeroll, a Spartan freeroll....etc) similar to what PokerStars did(does) for supernova players. Cheers!

The ones for Hero are still being worked on along with the VIP system.

Only VIP issued tournament tickets can be converted to cash minus the admin fee.

David,

I am getting request for 1/3, 2/5, 5/10 and 10/25 NLO8 cash tables. Can you make that possible?
09-12-2011 , 09:25 PM
David, how significant is PokerView joining Merge Network? Will we be seeing the 4 million tournament also?
09-12-2011 , 10:15 PM
David, maybe it's a long shot but I figured if enough people asked maybe it could happen. The $500 AUS freeroll is a bit late. Would it be possible to move it back an hour? Finishing at 11pm is a bit late for some.

Unfortunately Merge made a policy to no longer allow RB accounts after June 1st, but this is obviously a bit unfair as Aussie players were unable to play until recently on Hero. Our revamped VIP system by the month's end should provide a similar level of value back for volume players. This has been pending for period of time, but it is nearly sorted.

I will pass this on, I do expect a lot of revisions later this month and early next month to things such as game selection and blind structures etc.

I honestly am not in a position or have an inside position to comment on things at the network level, but overall, I'm sure this is a good thing. I think most of the questions are answered in the article that I found above. I do not make any claim to know how valid the information in the above article is, but it looks promising in any case.

Hero will not be participating in their promotion, but I would say, where there is value there will be players. =)

Hi, yes, I am actually really sorry about it, it was a tough call, because the time zone coverage is so broad from NZ to AUS, but I reckon what we will do is for October when we run our promotions we will do a duel time split. So we will run more NZ and and more AUS specific promotions in a more reasonable time zone.

Cheers,
Dave

Dave helped me out when i emailed him really quickly and was super helpful in all my questions. i like Hero Poker alot so far especially in the wake of the FTP

I think the Pokerview email mis-stated the 4 million tournament thing and actually meant to say 4 million in guaranteed tournaments each months from what I've heard.

Is Pokerview on the Merge network now? It'd be nice to have some fresh traffic
