Ugh, I hate having to wait that long. When I made my original post back in February, I was hoping for a matter of weeks. Wishful thinking apparently!

I'm sure Dave will make it worth the wait. He's always been involved in this thread and has been good to his word from all accounts.

Hey guys,
Well I'm back in Macau working hard at just ironing out many details, but our launch looks to be sometime mid year.

Best always,
Dave

What network will you relaunch on?...Has that been mentioned?....Is it something you can comment on yet?

Can't say, no, no would be the answers for now.

Unfortunately, I can't make any further statements are the details quite just yet, but seeing that we're just a few months away, I'm like to make a massive posting here.

I understand that questions and answers have been slow in coming, this is the nature of the beast as everyone in the industry has been trying to really secure a stable position moving forward.

Of course, I've done what I can to secure a position for us to really be successful and that has taken time.

Best,
Dave

Hey dave is Hero gonna email the players that had bankrolls when the site closed to tell the relaunch of the new site. TY for all your post.

Whenever Dave does return it will most likely be my poker home. Merge is simply awful. Hero going down was like a second " black friday" for me. Dave will your new platform include bitcoins as a deposit/withdraw method? A lot of us havent forgotten the class and professionalism you displayed at Hero.

This stands out as an exception in todays online market. He was obviously in a tough spot with Merge and when his site re emerges I'm sure he'll come back a Hero.

Hey thanks guys, appreciate the post.
Well, we're into the final stretch of preparations, so we are on schedule for our relaunch.

We will let our players know in detail about the relaunch,
I have been monitoring the bitcoin option for some time now and I would give it some more time before integrating it, but it is definitely a possibility.

Preparations have taken a lot of time, simply because we don't want to ever be stuck in a situation like we had previously, so it is a very step-by-step process to make sure that everyone we are working with is aligned for the long term.

Best as always and again, much appreciation,

Dave

Will your relaunch accept players from every state in the U.S. ?

bitcoins as a depo/cashout method would be nice
04-23-2013 , 08:17 AM
Dave, hope you come back soon. Your prior VIP program was superior to what is now offered IMO. Hope something along those lines is still possible. It was definitely more fun for the recreational player. You were right about the lotto style promotions also. After having to play all these Merge freerolls I realize now what a waste of time it is. I have come to realize how your way of doing things was the better way. You and your site are sorely missed by many.

I agree, like Seals, deposit in minutes and cashout in less than 2 hours...if Hero can do that with a bigger player pool than Seals then it will simply be the best US looking site. This crap about waiting weeks for a check is not good at all after you play at seals.

The HEROPOKER.CO.UK page that announced the intention to reopen in June 2013 now requires a username and password to access. I don't know what that signifies but it seems something is afoot.

Did this several days ago. Sounds like a complete redesign of the page is at hand.

I really wouldn't get my hopes up.

The only networks that they realistically can join up with are Revolution and WPN.

Both are absolutely crap options.

There is a new co-op style network called Equity Poker Network set to launch in the near future. This business model allows the skin owners to design whatever kind of promos, games, ect. that they want.

This would seem to be exactly the kind of setup Hero would want.

Just speculating!

Be Epic

Take your time, come back epic or don't come back at all. Not to confuse epic with the failed annie duke venture.

That's the plan, anything less, you'd be eaten alive in seconds.
Cheers,
Dave
