That's it actually. I keep up with my play. I make notes while playing. If I see an error, I try to work on it. Everyone has a different approach. The key for me is having some idea of what I want to do and watching how I stay close to plan. I do not call turns for gutter balls. If I did that in a game, afterwards I would go over all the reasons why I did it. Then I hit myself in the head with a brick. If I do it again, I hit myself in the head with two bricks. I haven't reached three bricks, after the second brink I quit calling the turn with a gut shot.
