But we are interested in the mindsets of rigtards.

What causes them to lose the ability think rationally?

Are the paranoid in oter aspects of their lives?

To what extent do their bad poker skills induce their odd befiefs?

OK but shouldnt the deposits still be there and isnt there a law preventing the deposits from being used?

probably, but that has nothing to do w/the topic at hand. there is a HUGE thread about that issue around though, I believe it's titled something like "Battlefield Poker and Several Others About to Close."

Have you posted this in the probability section?

Id be interested to see how many million/billion to one chance this is of happening.

Well then the question stands as to what happens to player deposits?

Traded on the Stock Market like the banks?

In which jurisdiction do you think such a law exists?

And why do you think sites in other jurisdictions would take any notice of it?

Ask the question in the correct thread (or start a new one) and you might get an answer.

Using this logic, all lotteries are rigged. Just go to a winner and say it was 15 million to 1 or whatever for you to win. Since you won it must be rigged.

There is a flaw in that thinking. See if you can figure it out.

Also, you still never answered this question

What do you say to people who genuinely believe the sites are rigged to help small stacks in tournaments? Yes or no, are their rigged theories valid.

I know you keep reading the question, surely you can type in 1 word as a reply. If not, I wonder why

In holdem there are 2.5 million possible boards and 34 sextillion ways to deal hole cards to a 9-player table, giving us 88 octillion ways (27 zeros) to deal a full hand of holdem to 9 players. It's damn near impossible for any specific combination to ever happen. Yet somehow they do.

Bear in mind it was 2 Omaha hands. The hands were dealt consecutively to the same 2 players also with the hands being dealt in the same sequence i.e A 2 6 7 or whatever it was and not the next hand being 6 2 A 7. The same player won both hands with the nuts.

Isnt this like the same person winning the lottery on consecutve weeks?

Isnt that a flaw with the RNG at least?

Could be. But I've heard of several people winning the lottery twice before too. And there are a *lot* more poker hands played than lottery tickets sold. Randomness means sometimes very long shots do happen.

There s a flaw in using the lottery as an example. The lottery is just a lucky draw whereas poker is a skill game with an element of luck, the two are not comparable.

If someone from the same small town won the lottery for a few weeks in a row you could say something is up.

Well Ive never seen anyone say that but I would disagree with anyone who did so NO!

I thought I answered you last time on this. I believe that small stacks are helped out in cash games not tournaments.

Incase you missed that NO NO NO.

But seriously isnt it a near impossibility for those two hands to be dealt like that.

The odds on this one are too long to be explained away by long shots do happen.

Poker isnt really comparable to the lottery IMO.

Not all of them are exactly 15 million to one shots twice in a row.

The first one is a guy buying 2 tickets the same 1 week hence winning twice and other are scratchcards and smaller state type lotteries with far fewer entrants.

So the last time I played Omaha, I got
KT96
AKJ7
AJ84
AT33

IN THAT ORDER. Even the cards were dealt in that order!

Can one of you math gurus tell me the odds of THAT?
