Re: The great "Poker is rigged debate"

I dont keep responding the way that I do b/c I think online poker is rigged! As I've said in the past is that I respond the way I do b/c of you three or four gimtards. If I could get an honest answer, such as the way Josem did and the one that did earlier today. I would leave it at that. It's you that draws the extra suspicion. If I have quesitons in my mind that I have doubts about, I'm going to ask those questions till I get a logical answer. You insulting me honestly only fules the fire. That makes me want to justify my points and force me to some how retaliate. The whole conclusion I have is that it needs to be regulated and monitored so we have the peace of mind of knowing that we are safe.

Re: The great "Poker is rigged debate"

Somebody said in a post about how all these rigtards came out this year...that's thanks to the UB/AP thing. They pretty much gave a bad name to every online poker site. If that situation didn't happen I wouldn't be skeptical the way I am now....

If an obviously intellectually-challenged person (I know, you don't come across many folks dumber than you, but try to follow along...) kept telling you the only reason you did well at Madden 08 is because it was programmed to make you win, wouldn't you ask them why they thought such a preposterous thing?

And when they didn't give you a good reason, and instead continued to say that it's not your skill that brings you success, but an inside job to give you an unfair advantage is responsible, wouldn't that annoy you?

So, as a reasonable person would do in such a situation, I'm sure you'd ask this sub-human to provide some credible proof for their allegations. However, they respond with "prove it's NOT rigged for you." Would that be a satisfactory reply?

Finally, after this rigtard has displayed a severe lack of common sense while spouting silly fabrications and half-understood rumors, they continue to badger you and anyone else they can find to perpetuate this foolishness. Would you not find that incredibly aggravating?

It's unfortunate you don't have the same skills at seeing patterns as your hero, stephen meares, but that's basically exactly what you've been doing for months here.

What is there to prove wrong about this thread? I've said before that reading comprehension isn't something you should brag about. "Your proving my point." (sic)

what could that term even mean?
Ok, I said, there's possible evidence of life existing on Mars. We sent an unmanned lander to the planet to look for evidence if it's true. Do you know how much money and research it takes to send a shuttle to mars? Looking was that important. Searching for the answers is important. Not searching for proof on something that cataclysmic is a debacle. And why are you stooping to my rigtarded grammatical errors? Never start a sentence with "And"

I saw 92o win four hands in a row, each one going to showdown, at $4/$8 Hard Rock Biloxi. Oddly enough, no one thought it was rigged and I don't see endless threads around here about how HR Biloxi is ROGGED!

There's some old cretin reg at the old Grand Tunica that used to ask for a set up every time he lost a showdown. Since he didn't do anything but sit at the table all day contributing to the drop, they usually indulged him. Since he sucked, this meant a hell of a lot of downtime. Infuriating experience.

I think there's always been a lot of people who don't trust a deal that they can't watch with their own eyes, and always will be. All of the real reasons that people perceive more bad beats online (and in some games they do occur more frequently) have been discussed ad nauseum in forums and books for years. A rigged deal isn't one of those reasons.

As for the UB/AP cheating scandal, you're right that didn't help public perception, even though it wasn't a rigged deal. It made people more distrustful of online poker in general, and the way it was reported in the news didn't help, as they tried to make the whole industry look crooked. The fact is that old-fashioned cheating (as opposed to a fixed deal) is much more likely to go undetected in live poker than in online poker.

Ummm, no, that rule was discarded by writers thirty years ago, and it is considered just fine nowadays to begin a complete sentence with a coordinating conjunction when it continues the thought of the prior sentence. And modern professional writers do it all the time, in both formal and informal writing. It often helps with the cadence and readability of the paragraph.

Sorry, back to the topic....

Re: Is there an organisation that checks poker sites?

Honestly, Mark, I've never heard you or anybody else say or put it like that. I hate to compare Madden to Poker, but in Madden I honestly was top ten online and if somebody told me or accused me inadvertantly, that the game was rigged for me to win and that's the only reason I was that good. I probably would react the same way you do.

And you can, indeed, start a paragraph with a conjunction if you know what you are doing.

The 'rule' was something designed to help school children who would mistakenly start new sentences in inappropriate places.

That is a downright lie.

When anyone takes the trouble to provide you with a clear and logical argument devoid of any snarkiness your response is not:

"Oh, I see, thanks for explaining"

it's:

"Tell us which poker site you are a shill for".

or:

"Why do you people get so offended by people suggesting it's rigged".

Hey shill if it isnt rigged why would the sites pay you to stand on the other side of the fence in these threads?

Let's divide the (poker playing) world into three groups:

1) Those who think OLP is rigged and don't play and presumably don't come here.
2) Those who are pretty sure it's not rigged and understand the arguments for why that is the case.
3) Those who, despite having no evidence whatsoever, believe that it is rigged and who, further, are so animal stupid that they keep playing in between coming here to whine about it.

Which of those groups probably think I and anyone else who proposes logical arguments why OLP is probably not rigged are shills?

Well, group #3, of course.

Do you seriously think we give a tinker's cuss what the ******s in that group think?

Do you really think that you are convincing anybody other than animal stupid rigtards by your juvenile attempts to discredit arguments against your lame brained ideas by accusations of shilling?

If you do you are even more deluded than you at first appear.

Insults again qpw, anyone who flings insults around like that loses more CREDIBILITY.

You reply very quickly qpw like your getting paid t sit around the forum debunking folk who think its rigged.

Also you only seem to post in the Internet Gambling forum which is a little curious. Like this is your forum for shilling.

Lots of posters think it isnt rigged but only you seem to be straight into every rigged thread on the other side of the fence. Almost every time I open Internet Poker and there s a rigged thread or the like the last poster is "qpw" surprise surprise.

Seriously get a new account so its harder to spot you.

You never PM d me the shill application form I could use the cash.

p.s. lol at your 3 little groups.
