For some reason, I have a feeling Monteroy's not looking for an escrow because he's worried you won't get paid if you win.

I think Indiana's even said that his bots are marginal winners at best, hardly seems worth the risk to win .5bb/100 or whatever, even if "they" had hundreds of bots.

Of course this is a delusional belief.

It is based on the belief that a major site would alter the game of a $33 (as if that is a major amount) tournament, in which they already received their rake to somehow deprive specifically you of a hand win.

It is a classic case of delusions of grandeur. The reality is the site could not care if you won or lost a hand in a tournament, and that reality is a much colder one than yours which has you at the center of their universe as well. You are not that important. Nobody is.
Of course they are. These sites know that if they keep any poor player around down the road it pays off. You keep trying to forget the fact that if a site lets good play hold up they would have probably half the players playing. A huge loss in profits. It's beneficial to the site to have the poor players winning long term. That is the goal. To build up as many viable players while their hardware is safe from inspection. To dodge any regulation and keep players to a maximum. To do this they adjust outcomes of players that constantly make bad decisions.

Hey BOP, just wondering, what do you think of Spadebidder's study results so far?

How do live casinos manage to turn a profit without protecting the bad players?

BOP, your avatar sucks. The kid in the image is clearly saying "That's what I said." Where/how did you become fixated on a kid screaming at a camera saying "That's what I said?"

Now sites are rigging it for the bad players? To keep them playing? What? You must be a losing player, but in your case..You must be a losing player who is getting help from the sites!

IF THAT'S THE CASE THEN THE RIGGING WOULD BE VERY SUBTLE AND HAS NOT SIGNIFICANTLY ENOUGH CONTRIBUTED TO YOUR DOWNSWING FOR YOU TO NOTICE IT.

This is why people jump in here so quickly to argue against any rigging theories, because they rarely if ever make any logic sense.

What if...

it's just completely legit?

I'm not saying it is, but it COULD be, right?

Seriously. What is your problem with an escrow? It makes no sense to not use one. Especially considering you have already proven yourself to be a flip-flopper in this thread.
I don't think I've proven anything. I had no idea whether anybody would accept the bet, and I was a little nervous that they might take it and I would lose. However, there is not a level of trust established, so no prop.

Many posters think that the chance of rigging is almost zero, certainly less than 5%, and anybody who suggests otherwise is flamed as a rigtard and fool. I think the chance of rigging is a lot higher but don't have any good idea of what the chance is. So I choose 50% until I have better evidence.

The prop is mostly just for fun and to keep my interest alive. Call it degen if you like.

I'm not asking anybody to post anything. But maybe the same prop would be interesting if the loser makes a donation to the "Haiti Fund." If the loser doesn't follow through, that would be easy to verify. Then, we could rag on that for a while.

You are completely transparent.

We all knew from the outset that there was no way you would proceed with this bet in any way that meant that someone taking you on would get paid off.

It was obvious that it was just so much hot air and puerile bravado and that's exactly what it's turned out to be.

Truly pathetic.

Thanks for the reply bro. I might give em a shot. I like that idea very much (of being able to change your SN).

I think I'm going to switch over to sugar free redbull. I like Redbull very much,(being able to get that much Posting power with no sugar)

I think you're trolling here, but if you are not: I've stayed away from those redbull-like drinks because of the massive amounts of sugar: do the non-sugar varieties actually give an energy boost? Do they work better than coffee?

Sorry for the hijack!

I know I'll stop after this post. I had to write something as random as LV. What is the def. of "trolling"?

Same here, I switched to Sugar free and there is virtually no crash.

"Coffee makes me a might nervous, hmmm hmmm"

Nope.

We knew that you would not go through with the bet in a way that meant anyone would get paid off.

We merely feel there is no credible evidence that online poker is not rigged so assume it's probably not.

Can you understand the difference?

Obviously there is the issue of trust here. What if you take a look at my Jan 14 post and I send you proof that backs up what I said there? And then I send proof for the Jan 15-19 period? And you have no risk. I am not suggesting I have proof of rigging, just that I haven't made up any numbers.

I can even send the HH to a trusted 3rd party. spadebidder would be fine with me here.

What you really know is that you have an opinion and not a lot of tolerance for others.
