No thank you? I thought you were in favor of strong regulation?

Erm, Donko, Socialism and democracy are not two sides of the same coin.

They are not mutually exclusive.

You can have a capitalist dictatorship and a communist democracy.

Obviously the former USSR was neither.

I guess the socialism ingredient is starting to dominate the mix then.

Does that mean America is now rigged? lol

Just wanted to connect back to the thread...sorry...

Oh yeah, we have the iPhone. That's pretty cool. Maybe Steve Jobs can run online poker.
Haha, I was trying to think of something too and the first thing was the iPhone and other Apple products. We also have Google and Microsoft. There are many small companies here that do a ton of crazy things that are amazing, but aren't very mainstream.

I ran abnormally well for a week with my first deposit. Then I ran at what I suspect to be expectation for a kid playing for, well, 8-9 days and lost all my money.

I deposited again, ran ok, kept reading the 2+2 Strategy Forums as well as a book or two I bought and managed to hold on to my money (and even show a small but steady profit!) ever since then.

What sites do you play on?

Any specific threads here that you thought were extra helpful?

I dont think so. The United States of America up until recently was the most powerful nation in the world. Some still say we are. With power comes wealth and resources. That is why so many people from other countries moved here. That is our advantage to have such a wide spectrum of people. Our diversity is our advantage. With this in mind, I dont think "Flawed" is the right word. I do see that things are changing in this country as of late, that could weaken my argument if things dont improve politically and economically here soon.

Of course the argument is flawed.

Mainly because you don't need anything even close to 'cutting edge' technology to regulate a poker site. (Or, at least, no government is ever going to go to the trouble and expense of deploying such technology for that task.)

Look on the bright side.

You've very recently spent eight years being run by an illiterate chimp. At least you now have someone with some intelligence at the helm.

People who voted 'Yes' are useless poker players who refuse to take responsibility for their own inadequacies.

End of.

Is they?

Then they are even more stupid than I thought.

What kind of a moran keeps playing when he knows that a site is rigged against him?

They're not my customers.

Just the very bottom of the food chain.

The shallow end of the gene pool, if you will.

It has its uses and there is plenty of it available from the sort of people who keep depositing on sites they think are ripping them off.

Dont you see?
Because I see it with the clear crystal vision:

If there are no shortstackers the databases will be a lot more, lets say, "pure". And thats what we need, clear databases. We dont need to clear it from the wrong shortstackers assumptions when digging it. Let me give an example: when we analyse a hand played with a shortstack you would be able to run tests from pre flop until river. If no shortstackers are involved we can analyse it from pre flop until the river. Thats just one application in wich the absence of shortstackers in the hand would be of help for the analysis.

No, because you did not follow netiquette and quote what you were responding to so (given the posts immediately above yours) it appeared to be complete gibberish.

What is this database of which you speak?

You see the trouble with posting random thoughts out of any context?

In any case you seem to have NL blinkers on (although, without knowing if you are talking about some very specific database it's hard to say for certain).

A database may contain Limit, Pot Limit, No Limit, cash, tournament, HU, 6Max,Full Ring.

Certainly there may be good reasons for filtering it depending on what you are looking for but you need to state your intent beforehand.

Is his post some attempt to continue the joke about the number of SS threads popping up all of a sudden?

Here is my theory. There is all these morons that claim that "online poker is rigged". I got so many bad beats blah blah blah. Well, if online poker is rigged. And your destined to lose money. Why the F*CK are you still playing? Because deep down in your inoperable head of yours. You know its not rigged. Because nobody with common sense would be playing poker if they thought it was rigged. Unless they are a completely f*c*ing stupid. So you either have the IQ of a f*c*ing rotten walnut, or you just tell yourself this bull*h*t to feel better about how sh*tty of a poker player you really are.
