This is my question as well... though their methodology is a bit ****ed regardless. Why assign a "grouping" value to these hands? Why not just look at the percentage of times you get AKo versus the number of times you get 72o and see if they're the same?

Though, I can tell you the results right now:
Spoiler:
They are.

OP,

You can email PokerStars and get your hand distribution for the last 4-6 weeks emailed to you, along with details such as how far each hand is from the mean.

go flip a coin 5 times each in your bedroom, bathroom, living room, and kitchen and ship me the results. I'M VERY INTERESTED. Although, I think that the kitchen is a clear cut winner for producing more "heads."

this is not a level, OP has conducted a painstakingly detailed study, we should be thanking marina for exposing RNGs. All those who criticize these findings are clearly in the employ of the sites being studied.

I sell insurance now against rigged odds. Policies are cheap and can be paid through your poker accounts. Every time you incur bad beats that defy the actual odds and deviation, just mail in your HH along with your written claim describing your proof in detail.
