Is Full Tilt Poker rigged?

Yes, this is another stupid thread of somebody whining about an online poker site possibly being rigged, Sorry. My question isn't really if these sites are rigged or not, rather is anyone doing tests to find out if they are rigged? Seriously, if this is the most disputed topic of conversation amongst online poker players, has anybody kept track the percentage of bad beats?

pretty sure with all the people using HEM and poker tracker, someone would see unusual results going against odds and post it on 2+2. Not rigged.

Asking this question on this message board is like me walking into a church and asking if God is real.

What do you think the answer will be?

Re: Is Full Tilt Poker rigged?

I'm trying to imagine what the OP was expecting for enlightenment in possible answers.

Strictly speaking the possible answers were "yes," "no," "sometimes," "maybe," and "don't know." (I think that's an exhaustive set, but I'm open to correction.) But even if the response was unanimous on any one of those responses, what was the OP going to do with that information? It's just totally weird.

Also does the OP seriously believe he/she is the very first to ponder this? Thus would never have considered searching?

There are times I just want to sit down with some people for a frank conversation and try to get into their head because their thought processes elude me.

The amount of shill posts in here should indicate they are trying to hide something.

Okay, I give up. What does the number of Real Deal shill posts indicate they are hiding?

Just a quick post/observation....I've recently jumped from FTP to UB. I've been with FTP for a couple of years, been winning most of that time, about 12% roi. But I'm currently on a down swing and thought I'd mix it up and try out the competition and maybe get my mojo back. Yes I'm aware of the UB cheating scandal, but you'd think that due to the scandal they would now be the cleanest site out there now being under the world's microscope and all. Anyhoo...in the last 2 weeks of playing (with a greatly improved upswing/winning mojo) Sng's on UB I've noticed that the average time for each game, 9-45 seaters, to finish on UB is far longer than FTP and I've seen just a fraction of 1/2 card outer bad beats that I would usually see on FTP. And before all you elitest/ "protectors"/ 24/7 posters jump up and down asking for proof, or my graph or tell me to whining etc etc...I'm not saying it's rigged I'm just posting a recent observation.
Is there a way to find out the average time limit for sit n go's on each site?

The starting chip stacks/time of blind levels/payout structure differences might be more of a factor of why some site sit and gos last longer or shorter than others. Some even have that strange name called turbo, and those do not last nearly as long - hmm, seems curious. Hyper turbos are even shorter- what the heck is up with that, it must be the rigging.

Or, perhaps the UB people were waiting for you to enter the $1 sit and gos to launch their doomswitch on you and cackle all the way to the back with your dime in rake that they would have gotten whether you won or lost. Fortunately they do this with 1 outers because those will definitely slip under the radar unless someone sharp like you notices them.

Option 2 does seem more rational. Alert the media and authorities on your findings. The world will now be a better place. Thank you.

Is there a way to find out the average time limit for sit n go's on each site?

Ultimate Bet SnG levels - 10/12 minutes each, 1500 starting stack (up to $20, larger stacks for higher stakes)

Full Tilt SnG levels - 6 minutes each, 1500 starting stack

Ultimate Bet turbo SnG levels - 5 minutes each, 1500 starting stack

Full Tilt turbo SnG levels - 3 minutes each, 1500 starting stack

On top of that, blind structure is different at UB than FT.

UB blind structures.
FT blind structures.

There are formulas to use the blind structure and calculate the average finish times. One is to calculate which blind level will put the total chips at 30 big blinds, and multiply that by the level time. So for a 9-player with 1500 stacks, when the blinds get to 450 (closest level) that's probably the level it would end. So for FT that would put a non-turbo single-table at 66 to 72 minutes. That sounds about right. For UB the same game would be 100 to 110 minutes for 10 minute blinds and 120 to 132 minutes for 12 minute blinds.
