2. Many of the networks out there will monitor you and your winnings, play behaviour and adapt shuffling algorithms accordingly.

So online poker is rigged - case closed?

You sold me. If you cannot trust a new gimmick account citing a random guy's blog that provides no hard evidence then really who can you trust in this day and age.

it does appear the guy is what he says

minor technical hijack: is this thread jumping for anyone? I can't get it to stay on the post I want to see, its automatically jumping up a few posts. It's the only thread I'm having this problem on.

It's pretty awesome that rigtards will blindly trust one former online poker employee (with no supporting evidence) but not current or dozens of other poker employees (who have supporting evidence)

But more substantially, if this guy can provide any evidence to support his claims, that'd be great.

Further, perhaps someone could contact his former employer and post their response here?

If there is supporting evidence that a RNG is running 24/7 then let us see it.

but not current or dozens of other poker employees (who have supporting evidence)

So there is no evidence a RNG is running 24/7?

Hint evidence: Reports from regular visits by an independent Gaming Commission with access to the server that runs the pokergames

Am I Just Bound to Lose? Along with everyone else who does this....?

I have a theory.... I am break even long term online and winning solid live and play up to 5/10 NL and 60/120 Limit.....

The theory (actually its a hypothesis) is that because of the way my OCD makes me click and move the mouse I get a bad run of cards online.

Sound crazy? I agree, its nuts but I think that there may be something to it. The way that the RNG shoots out cards is based on mouse movements and clicks.

Does anyone think that there is something to this?

Not rigged at all.... It is just that the cards come out based on your timing and clicking patterns of the mouse. It is statd that the RNG woks this way. Maybe people who do certain things just lose.

I am 95% sure that he is correct in terms of FTP. I believe that they have stated they use a continuous shuffle, which means that the timing of your actions do have an effect on the cards. For example, when donks like to complain "Oh, I folded a 2" on a 2-2-A flop, on FT it doesn't really matter because if they have clicked call the flop would have been different anyways. However, it still is completely random. However, on PS I believe that the cards stop shuffling after the deal, so the timing of clicks has no effect. In other words, it is like a live game.

Oh yeah, I am in no way stating anything is rigged/set-up. I am just saying that FT uses a continuous shuffle, whereas PS doesn't. They obviously are both completely random, but timing *does* have an effect on FT. You cannot use it for/against yourself, it is just the way their RNG works.

RNG stands for "random number generator." Random means RANDOM. That is the point you're missing. To get a truly random number, independent variables have to be introduced- otherwise someone with the algorithm could theoretically predict. The result is still random though. That's what the algorithm does. It doesn't just say "Oh, person in seat 3 moved his mouse up, that means I put a King out." It says "oh, mouse movements of all players = 1565384764456" on my chart. So I'll enter that number into the equation. Result is 48465413241984324864123486132486453412415 which means the 12th card in the deck which this time happens to be 6 of spades. Or something like that. I never really went past high school math, and I get the essence of it. That's why everyone's laughing at you.

Start using AHKs imo. How do you think all the 24tablers are able to grind out millions of hands a year without getting doomswitched for their whole rolls? It's because they use their keyboards instead of their mouses to keep the RNGs from conspiring to ship all their money to the fish like the sites all want to have happen.

Id like to see someone test this and make the same movements for a good sample size and test their results....

To be fair, since you're the one advocating the baseless theory, you just look to yourself first to collect data.
