I talked to a guy yesterday who told me he lost 11 times in a row with aces on pokerstars. He did not think online poker was rigged.

I cannot speak for casino games. I have not played anything but poker. I haven't played on ACR or any other US friendly sites but from what I've seen, the complaints about them are the same as the ones about Pokerstars, 888 and any other poker site in the world.

So, most likely your concerns about those sites being rigged are based on nothing more than a little frustration about some bad beads or some run bad.

Don't know about Lock, heard that they were a crappy site that ultimately stole money but no by rigging. The deal at UB was legit, they just had a "tiny" superuser problem.

i have these sites in nj. if you were here and playing them, you would soon realize that they are similar to those you are complaining about. good or bad, in terms of rng/hands, they all end up being about the same.

For me, basically, yes. I post with the hope that the occasional person listens to reason and gets something out of my post. And not that online poker isn't (or is) rigged, but that there is a threshold people should expect they'll need to meet if they want to convince anyone. That simply posting a few anecdotes, or being able to come up with motives for those evil off-shore unregulated poker sites to rig the games, isn't proof that they are.

I never try to convince anyone that a given site isn't (or is) rigged - how would I know? That's why I've never voted in the poll. I just think accusations should be evidence-based. And if some compelling evidence comes forward that a site is rigged, of course I'll be condemning it (the site).

This is not normal anymore. Pretty strange that I always run massively under EV in sessions where recreational players, who are always huge donks in this format, run their stack up from $50 to like $2k. That's no coincidence.
