so far my favorite thread is the guy who has connection issues with stars and is legitimately concerned it's due to interference from the government spying on him.

$6.1 million
The amount noted above is the current sum of money that has been refunded to high stakes players at UltimateBet for some of their opponents were not on the level. Lead by WSOP Main Event winner Russ Hamilton, certain players were using super-user accounts to view the hole cards of their opponents. Currently, Hamilton is the only one who is named in the Kahnawake Gaming Commission's (KGC) audit findings as additional payouts will be going out on November 3rd as well.
The Commission found clear and convincing evidence to support the conclusion that between the approximate dates of May 2004 to January 2008, Russell Hamilton, an individual associated with Ultimate Bet's affiliate program, was the main person responsible for and benefiting from the multiple cheating incidents.

Sorry, what are we talking about now? What RNG was compromised?

This is sort of a silly argument, really. I understand what you're driving at; software was compromised in the Cereus scandal (whether the designers left the flaw or someone altered the software later; I suspect the former, but I don't think we'll ever know for certain), so you're suggesting someone can do it again. The difference I think you're missing is that any RNG rigging would be done to benefit the site, not an individual. Apples and oranges IMO.

Many politicians will always be corrupt. Deny that.

do you believe there's a pattern to the corruption, and that there's something far more sinister and wide-spread than simple corruption for personal gain?

Why not an individual or a group of individuals like the superuser scandal? They were an employee/affiliate and therefore represent the company or could be construed to be the company in law definitions. How do we know the company didn't know about the superuser accounts?
Why can't an individual bypass the RNG or actually rig it benefiting himself or a group? Any number of combinations of involvement are possible. What it comes down to is the company is responsible in the end.
We'll see if this goes to trial who all was involved. No doubt Russ Hamilton is going down.

Before I go accusing, say, Barack Obama of being corrupt I'm going to have to prove it. If my argument is "lots of politicians are corrupt" therefore "Obama is corrupt" then I'll seem like a nut, just as you are coming across in this thread.

Not to mention all of the evidence provided in this thread points to the RNG not being rigged. Check out some previous posts by Spadebidder that include a lot of stats. Does it rule it out, no. But you haven't been ruled out as being a murderer who actually lives in prison; however, based on the amount you have been posting today I can say that you PROBABLY aren't in prison.

you didn't answer my question.

If they can rig the RNG in an undetectable way to steal tons of money. Why would they use superusers that were detectable?

detectable apparently only by 2+2 people and their statistics. They went to far obviously.

We don't know; they may well have been. However, a rigging scandal would almost definitely need to be run by the company itself.

I can't imagine any way one could rig an RNG to benefit only certain players that wouldn't be incredibly easy to spot.

No the answer is. The RNG probably wasn't rigged to skim money in an undetectable way and thats why they used superuser accounts to take peoples money.
