obv. the 97o guy thought the guy who shoved had high cards so he'd hit if the other guy missed. that's level 2.3 play.

but for a superuser, his -18% ROI is kinda low, dontchya think?

Well, they had an obvious flaw built in to their software (the ability to see hole cards during hands), but I agree they suck, it's one of many reasons I don't play at Cereus.

And this has what to do with rigged RNGs?

the janitor probably planted a virus that makes the favorite hand pre-flop lose every 156th time so his nephew in South Dakota can crush micros and buy more comic books. If the sites were more cautious this wouldn't be a concern.

lax security allowing fraud that speeds up play, more rakes and reloads. the game was rigged!! The RNG was compromised, rigged in a way. Rigged is rigged.

The point is lax security which will allow rigging or bypassing the RNG.
the superuser incident is fraud, as is rigging the software or RNG. Super user fraud is a software issue and so is "rigging the RNG", undeniably related, unless you happen to be a "denialist"

If you actually believe nuclear war will not happen you are a "denialist".

Your proclamation is cute, but all it is is a simple following of commandment 2

Commandment 1: Thou shalt ask others to prove it false

Commandment 2: Thou shalt state an opinion and declare it a fact

Commandment 3: Thou shalt hurl personal attacks

Commandment 4: Thou shalt assume

Commandment 5: Thou shalt have no time to test thy theories

Commandment 6: Thou shalt support they brethren unconditionally

Sure, find as many links as you like, then explain how it has anything to do with online poker in a direct manner other then "see bad things can happen in the world at times so it must happen all the time"

Want me to find you links of murders? Will that prove we are all murderers?

Oh, and the hand the guy is whining so much about when he lost a coin flip was in a $5 tourney with 1 rebuy add on allowed. You know - the prime target for Stars to rig their software in a way to make a 50/50 stand out so much as to draw attention to the rigging.

Maybe people who like J 9o worked on the voting machines.

The former employee/consultant probably wrote the superuser code, and his supervisors probably new it and let it happen.

I don't have to prove fraud in online poker. It already happened and is happening now and always.
Bad things happened on line, millions were stolen, don't be a "denialist"

that's not the first time you shoved a mediocre hand (from EP) and got called by a poor hand? I bet your Sharkscope graph is breathtaking!

Yeah, it was those of us who actually care about integrity and honesty and fairness who had to apply the intellectual rigor to prove it.

Meanwhile, you have all the intellectual strength of a carrot, while undermining the cause you claim to represent.

If you read my posts I am the first one to say lots of fraud has taken place in the online gambling industry. Many casinos and a few poker rooms never paid out deposits. UB/AP had a super user scandal. I have also said that if a room commits a crime it will likely be the simple form of fraud which makes money with minimal effort.

What does any of this have to do with whether the software they have is rigged in the bizarre ways people suggest (which has no proof whatsoever so far).

If your point is that crime takes place in the world, well thank you for the news flash. If you want to show how any of this proves software is rigged, then let's see some actual evidence (as if that will ever happen).

All the best.

The part in bold is the part you have to prove. As I previously mentioned Enron was an energy company. Does that mean that energy companies are now committing fraud and will always commit fraud?

Are you leveling or really that dumb?

First, we ask for proof of their claims and they first ask us to disprove their claims. Next they call everyone who doesn't agree shills and if we're lucky some racist conspiracy plot lines get thrown in. Eventually they choose one of their critics as the ring leader and launch a diatribe against them. It's really quite charming. Finally they take a little time off, leaving room for then next unlucky donk who wants to blame someone besides themselves for losing their entire bankroll in one sitting (with it all on the table, usually) because they're winners in live poker.

Rinse, laugh so hard you cry, repeat.

Re: The great "Poker is rigged debate" - Collected threads edition

You can not deny these facts

http://www.keepyourpokerface.com/502...er_scandal.php

$6.1 million
The amount noted above is the current sum of money that has been refunded to high stakes players at UltimateBet for some of their opponents were not on the level. Lead by WSOP Main Event winner Russ Hamilton, certain players were using super-user accounts to view the hole cards of their opponents. Currently, Hamilton is the only one who is named in the Kahnawake Gaming Commission's (KGC) audit findings as additional payouts will be going out on November 3rd as well.
The Commission found clear and convincing evidence to support the conclusion that between the approximate dates of May 2004 to January 2008, Russell Hamilton, an individual associated with Ultimate Bet's affiliate program, was the main person responsible for and benefiting from the multiple cheating incidents.

The software was rigged, or hacked, fraud occurred. Its happened before, it will happen again no doubt.
