Yeah, I assumed these as well. If there are other hands he can post them, talk about entropy effect, and I can find I am sure at least 16 more ways to find variations of 16 in them or any other small number if he likes.

Creating patterns out of data (that have nothing to do with anything) is quite easy to do, with or without Russian/Israeli mafia entropy effecting it or not. No doubt he will think his pattern means something special, but I think a pattern of 16s is much more powerful.

I still maintain my stud hands were the coolest wacky hands. Runner runner quads losing to runner runner runner straight flush and 2 hands later a flush losing to another flush due to the 5th lowest card in the flush. Twoplustwo pokercast freeroll is clearly rigged.

Re: What site has more bad beats??

Full Tilt and Cake both have about the same number of beats per hand, but PokerStars has about 11% fewer per 100 hands. There was an article about it on CardPlayer a while back that used something like 600 million datamined hands from FTP and PokerStars and about half that from Cake (probably because it has less players).

This is very interesting but my choices are FTP and Cake. Not Stars. I have played primarily on cake and am just getting sick of the things that I am seeing and am considering switching over to FTP. This is why I ask

Re: What site has more bad beats??

Im not saying its rigged but I do believe that some sites are more fair than others because their RNGs are different. As you can see there was already a study done that proved stars had 11% less bad beats. So you sir are the idiot

You're the one who is whining about the beats you are seeing.

I found your staking thread and if your graph is legit and indeed you then it does appear somewhat impressive to me...which makes me even more surprised that you would actually whine about the beats you are receiving on a given site.

Do you know what the 'R' in "RNG" stands for? If the sites all have "RNGs" then they will have an equal number of bad beats over a statistically relevant sample.

This isn't necessarily true if the playing style on the different sites is not the same. Looser play on Cake compared with Stars (according to most). You have to have players get in there with the worst of it to have a bad beat at all....and having a greater number of looser players who are willing to do that will lead to more bad beats per hand or whatever.

It's a stupid discussion anyway of course. Just saying it's not quite as simple as "random cards means exactly the same results on all sites" because not all players are the same even with those same random cards.

Re: What site has more bad beats??

I feel that I can whine about these beats. I am a winning player and variance is one thing but beat after beat after beat is just becoming absurd. I mean the math proves that this stuff doesnt continuously happen. I dont believe that the Random Number Generators are completely random as Stars and FTP use very different types of RNGs

Re: What site has more bad beats??

Alright, can we just merge this into the "Online is Rigged" thread already??? Microbob, OT and others have provided an answer to OP and he obviously doesn't want to get actual help or he would be happy with the answer he got. OP, none of the actual "winning" players agree with you, so please just go whine in the other thread with the other losing players and maybe you will feel better then.

/thread.

You obv havent read my original question. I asked about FTP and Cake. Nothing else. All I needed from people was 1 word answers but I guess that is too complicated for people

Current numbers:
Cake - 6.3k players
FT - 79k payers
Stars - 135k players
Meh, if you're talking total beats per site, yes, but per capita the looser game wins the bad beat race always.

Are you serious??? You have got an answer, and its not an opinion. Full Tilt has more bad beats because it has more players than Cake......happy?

Perhaps you could email the sites concerned and ask for details?

PokErasmus is an imbecile who really thinks he understands some things but he does not. That's the worst kind of ignorance. Sure, it's remotely possible something is rigged somewhere, hence these discussions, but he's so far off base it makes you cringe.

K13 just likes to try to agitate and see if he can get a response.

I'm taking after qpw and mostly ignoring this thread until someone debate-worthy shows up.

But he didn't ask that. He asked for which site has more bad beats which is roughly the same as asking which site deals more hands or has more tables running. So I answered the Q he was asking and I am 100% correct IMO!!!!

Take the last 4 digits in hand 1 and add them up and what do you get? 16

Look at hand 2 now the last 4 digits - 8+8 is 16 and 9+7 is 16

Spooky.

Yeah they are 2778 apart but what is 2+7+7? 16! And what is 8 half of? 16!!!!!

Very spooky!

Now look at the times of the hands

16 minutes after the hour!! 16!!!!!!

And now look at your post count - 88. What's 8+8? 16!!!!!!!!!!!

The odds of all of that happening are I would guess 16 billion to 1

Riggedology. It's a special lifestyle choice.
Do you know "spooky action at distance"
