Not sure if this has already been covered somewhere in the 4k+ posts itt... but with all these new sites that track massive amounts of poker hands (opr, pokertableratings, etc) is it possible to check out how accurate their randomness is? Looking at the billions of online poker hands that have been played, the actual results should be about equal to the EV. This would be interesting to see if it were possible..

It is possible, and it is being done, and in more detail than you describe. I'll have some very interesting posts in a few weeks.

Most sites don't want these sites in existence.

Perhaps, but not for this reason. Massive hand data shows that the deal is undoubtedly random.

That is true, but not for the reasons you imply.

They do not like how some players abuse others regarding their poor play statistics.

I have absolutely no doubt that you do believe it is rigged.

I have absolutely no doubt that you cannot offer any proof.

I have absolutely no doubt that proving your beliefs is not important to you, and no amount of data will change your mind.

I do wonder why you specify Pokerstars shill. I would assume you believe every single online poker room and casino is rigged (and perhaps all businesses everywhere), employing hundreds who diligently keep the secret.

Why not just say "online gaming shill" or "business shill" to cover all your bases.

Just trying to help a riggedologist follower.

All the best.

Your implications, not mine. I merely made one statement, that is sites dont want these sites in existence.

Monty, while were at it, isn't this a bit a defensive post? JMHO.

Not sure how you interpret it that way, but then there are still mysteries to the riggedologist mindset. I imagine how you define defensive is creative as well in that regard. Feel free to show which point in my list is not accurate if you prefer.

Also, feel free to explain why you said the sites do not want tracking sites, since the assumption that you believe sites are rigged and do not want to be caught is clearly incorrect...

You know what happens when you ASSume right? I never implied that or assumed it. I just simply stated sites dont want sites like that. Its a simple statement. I won't justify my statement to you...lol. I will let you make your mind up, as you already have. I made the statement, you were quick to point out "implications" and "assumptions", not me...YOU. Sounds like some one has a guilty conscience. You also spend to much time "imagining" how I define things, and how everyone else in the world around you thinks about you. Its probably listed in the MMPI somewhere as a serious, debilitating, mental disorder.

Ever seen that movie something about mary. You remind me of the guy endlessly running around looking for his baseball. ahh on second thought that gives you to much dignity. I think we are gonna have to go with that old show ...life goes on.

Let's see. You have a couple hundred posts. All about how the sites are rigged.

Hmm, you are right, it is hard to make a solid guess what your reasoning would be in this case...

A personal attack, good use of commandment 3 sir/maam/other

I'd ask you to put me in my place by actually giving any reason other then "because the rooms are rigged" as your basis for your comment, but we both know you can't do that, nor would you spend the 3 seconds it takes to do that. Better time spent following commandment 3 instead

I guess commandment 3 can be expanded to include stale pop culture references, since it seems to be by far your favorite.

Just a reminder that there are other commandments you should use as well. They feel lonely with your constant use of number 3. Be a good riggedologist and use them all.

Commandment 1: Thy shall ask others to prove it false

Commandment 2: Thy shall state an opinion and declare it a fact

Commandment 3: Thy shall hurl personal attacks

Commandment 4: Thy shall assume

Commandment 5: Thy hath no time to test thy theories

Me: "I heard there was a murder in IQUITyesterdays neighbourhood the other day. He's always struck me as the kind of person who would do something like that. The police should probably interview him and prove he didn't do it."

Random Person on the internet: "Thats outrageous. You can't say something like that without any proof"

Me:"I didn't say he did it. Why are you being so defensive. Have you got a guilty conscience because you're an accomplice?"

Yes, you do sound this stupid.

Your meaning was totally clear from the context, and no one misunderstood it. You meant that sites don't want a lot of data out there that could expose their rigging. What you didn't consider is that the data shows the opposite of what you believe.

and yeah, "thy" means something more like "my." certainly has a possessive quality to it.

I think there are some brand new unkown posters on some random boards posting that evil things are happening in the world with proof being that they know it to be true.

You should go and support them unconditionally. In fact that gives me an idea

All this sht reminds me of when I was a casino dealer. Once I beat a guy out of almost $40k when I got 6 blackjacks in a row. He swore up and down that I was cheating. He even demanded that the pitboss call the Gaming Control Board. The funniest sht was right after when the pitboss asked him if he wanted me to shuffle the shoe.. and the idiot said no! He lost another $20k before he left. I've also hit 19 reds in a row on Roulette when everyone (like 16 people) were betting on black. I thought these fools were gonna mob up on me! One guy kinda pissed me off when he said "How do you sleep at night?" I told him "On my left side."

Online poker MIGHT BE action-rigged similar to some video poker and slot machines, but that does not mean they are rigged to cheat you out of your money. It would cost too much money to do that in real-time. And less face it, these guys aren't big spenders IMO. They want to get their rake as cheaply as possible. Plus they have sponsorships to pay for. Super-user cheating.. occasionally, I should say rarely, sure it happens. But outright cheating the average Joe.. I doubt it.

Just my .02

Do you see the irony in your use of the word random here?

This is just non-sense. Is there any way to pre screen folks that register for 2 + 2? Its seriously crazy how many of these paranoid mopes come onto this site and complain about their bad beats and mistakes. Without realizing that its they're own fault! It never fails to amaze me.

If its so bad then why dont they just play live poker or get involved in a neighborhood club or something?

Everybody that comes to this site just to complain about how internet poker is rigged needs to have some sort of penalty! Even if it means asking them to be banned from the threads for a month or so.

WAKE UP! STUDY YOUR OWN GAME AND REALIZE YOU GUYS ARE AT FAULT! NOT THE SITES! STUDY! STUDY! STUDY! ...

The inherent flaw in your logic is that something first has to look and smell like a rat. You'll have to come up with better evidence for someone being a shill than the mere fact that they don't believe sites are rigged.

If they alter one card out of 100 hands would any data realistically be able to determine the alteration. All they have to do to ensure a player doesn't win too much is alter one card in a big pot every now and then. Fish wins a buy-in but goes on to donk it away. Reg loses a buy-in, shrugs it off, and continues to grind. It seems that sometimes you will reach a point when the site will just not let you win anymore money no matter what you do. I have also sat down after a long break and felt I couldn't lose no matter how poorly i played. If it looks and feels like something isn't entirely honest, then chances are it's not.

This a strong possibility and if someone is being fed good luck then obviously others must be getting screwed to compensate for it.
